I stopped using this lock. It’s very inconvenient. After you out the key in it had to be unscrewed. Then to lock it you have to thread it back on abd nake sure the slot is aligned correctly to remove the key. There ate much better options.

The only time this is not installed is when I'm actually hooking up/disconnecting the trailer. It has not shown any sign of rust and the key lock works easily. Love the fact that most products have videos. Very helpful in choosing the correct product.

Description should state that’s it’s a screw on type of lock. I would not have purchased this one had I known you have to screw the lock together.

Works as advertised. Like the ease of the wedsite, especially etrailer offering the ability for keyed alike on the etrailer products. I did treat the locks with the lithium grease as recommended. I’ll know more in about three months on how they perform. etrailer customer service gets a 5 Star, the customer service was great, along with pushing the order out the door. Thank you All.

5th one so far (have 5 trailers), have been using these and the receiver locks for about 8 years without any issue. Great to have all trailers keyed the same and a product that lasts (even through New England Winters). Just purchased another few for the rest of the family trailers/hitches. Superior service and prompt handling from Etrailer as well.

The hitchlock and coupler lock did not arrive “keyed alike” as requested. I sent an email asking for assistance and left a message for my Customer Service rep last week an have not received a reply from either one. Help?

These locks--in @ least three (3) sizes--are GREAT locks for trailers as well as for hitches. The 'keyed alike' feature is most valuable too. I am more than just extremely satisfied.

This is the second such lock I purchased from etrailer. This particular lock does extremely well to keep the honest person honest. Should I lose or require another lock, I will not hesitate to purchase from this company again.

Puchased two of these to secure bikes on the Swagman XTC 2 rack. Fits perfectly in the little hole on each bike arm and they are a nice tight fit. Able to get them keyed alike which is nice. I don't really like that I have to turn the key about 10 times to get the two pieces apart, and hope this doesn't cause wear issues down the road.

The product looked to be fine, EXCEPT the lock would not open. After reading about and wrestling with for 30 minutes I returned it. This is not a good start for my first order.

It's just as advertised. A strong shaft and all 4 matched keys to this and the receiver lock work perfect. More substantial than I thought it would be.

In error, I lost the first two and this is my third. The ability to key alike is very nice. When I lose or misplace an item, I can order the new one keyed the same as my other locks. The locks themselves are also great. With some lubrication once in awhile, the work great in all weather conditions (rain, snow, ice, salt,).

This lock does work but I am not a huge fan.The thing I do not like too much about this particular lock is that it's a screw off type and it's a little more time consuming than I like. That being said, the quality is decent and the lock serves the purpose. It does exactly what it advertises.
