Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this replacement brass grease zerk. Now this grease zerk is gonna replace the original grease zerk that came on your weld-on hinge, and this will allow you to easily lubricate your hinge again so that you have a nice quiet, smooth hinge operation. So if your original grease zerk has become damaged and needs to be replaced, this is exactly what you're gonna need. If the original was a 6M by one thread, if it's larger than that, it's probably the eight by one, which is a different part number that we also have available for you here at etrailer.com.
But just to give you a little bit more reassurance that this is gonna work for you make sure that your original has the same half inch overall length by quarter inch width. If that's the case, then this is probably going to be exactly what you need so that you can just hook up your grease gun to it and get your weld-on hinge lubricated so that it operates nice and smooth for you again.
