Replace your existing grease cap with a Bearing Buddy to ensure a safe, easy way to monitor and control the level of grease in your axle hub. To adjust the amount of grease in the hub, use a grease gun to add more through the appropriate fitting. Adding grease moves the Bearing Buddy spring-loaded piston outward 1/8".
The O-ring inside the barrel of the Bearing Buddy maintains a seal from the outside. The interior of the Bearing Buddy is pressurized, preventing water from entering the barrel and diluting the grease.
An automatic pressure-relief feature is built into the Bearing Buddy. When the device is full, grease will seep around the edges of the piston and into the barrel. This prevents overfilling that can damage the inner seal.
You can manually check the grease level in your Bearing Buddy by pressing on the edge of the piston. If you can rock or move the piston, the hub is properly filled.

I was very disappointed in the amount of money you charged for me to return my part it was xx.xx dollars. I had to return the buddy bearing due to my mechanic giving me the wrong size bearing buddies to order. And he recommended I purchase them from your company. My bad for not researching your return policy before purchasing the parts. I would have never of ordered them if I knew how much you charge for a return. I do not recommend anyone ordering parts from your company due to your return policy.
I replaced the entire brake system on a EZ loader trailer. Not difficult at all and everything fit perfectly. What an improvement! I had difficulty finding bearing buddies that work even after I carefully measured the diameters but the BB1968SS fit perfectly. Installed last year and no problems to date.

Everything was just as I ordered and arrived when they said it would. I usually like to shop locally around home. I went to every parts house and RV store in town and no one had any of the things I needed in stock and told me they couldn't get it from their vendors. I got on etrailer and they had everything I needed in stock. I ordered it on Nov 7th around 9 pm and received it on Nov 13th at 5 pm. I spent enough money to qualify for free shipping and was happy with how quick it arrived. When I need parts for my trailers again, etrailer will be the first place I look.

No issue installing this pair on a Harbor Freight Tools 1090 lbs. Capacity 40-1/2 in x 48 in Utility Trailer (SKU 90153) - but be sure to measure your wheel hubs, because sizes may change over time.
The Stainless Steel Bearing Buddies worked great on my small boat trailer and the staff at etrailer were very helpful ordering the correct parts.
I have used these on every trailer I have owned, not just the boat trailer. I have never had a bearing failure and I attribute it to the fact that I have these on the trailers I have used. I would not own a trailer that did not have these on it.

Working excellent!!!! I could not locate grease seals for my classic boat and tandem trailer combination and you found them for me!! The price was excellent for the 4 pieces and installed great!!! Thank you and I will be sure to again, use etrailer website!! PS. All representatives are excellent with people skills and very technical! I have to mention that the etrailer representative worked with me to order the correct buddy bearings for the tandem boat trailer too!!! Thanks to all etrailer representatives!!
