Nice replacement for the rusted coupler (unused for for over 20 years, covered with dirt!) on my Long Chih LCI-851T folding trailer, which I bought as a kit from Home Depot in days gone by. The coupler seems to be well build and finished. It matches the OEM 2,000-lb rating. My order was fulfilled, well packed, and shipped quickly with delivery on the date promised. Thanks to etrailer.com, I'm very happy with their service. I haven't done a fit check yet, since the trailer is 325 miles away from me right now, but I think the channel width and bolt holes will be perfect. My one, small demerit is that labels affixed to the top of the coupler were gouged before the unit was shipped to me. Inconsequential parts-bin rash maybe, but a bit disappointing.

The replacement coupler perfectly matched the Long Chih LCI-851T tongue’s side bolt holes, but not its top holes. The new coupler has a better design with both top bolts through the tongue, not just the rear bolt. I used the new unit as a template for two new 38 top holes. After that tweak, coupler installation was easy. It has been excellent in use.
Bolted right up. Good fit. Had to drill out the lever pin holes a little though so my pin would fit.
The correct coupler was delivered and it fit perfectly. Thank you.
I changed my coupler so that both of my trailers use the same size ball. Minus one star for having big annoying stickers that don't come off easily; had to soak them off and finish up the job with Gunk Off.

still works great bent part you sent when over loaded trailer and went down yard at steep angle my fault need to reorder wish I had used military hook for both ends
Used this on my yard cart for my lawnmower so I could leave the ball in the hitch plate to move stuff around the yard. no complaints here - holding fine in the elements. Definitely worth the money and as advertised

This was what I needed after the cheap ball hitch on my little trailer broke. It is much heavier duty than the cheap ones and galvanized to boot. Nice price, too, not much more than the el cheapo at the big-box store.
