Replacement Coupler Options for a 1963 Boat Trailer With 1-7/8" Fulton Coupler
Question:
Restoring 1963 boat trailer. Has 1-7/8 fulton says: 2000 lb class 1. Stamped B15413 coupler with missing latch. Guessing a hand wheel type. Can send photo. Has round and square hole very close together and those two holes close to the ball socket. Trying hard to find repair kit. Please help. Thanks so much

The only Fulton coupler repair kits we carry are the # F670801 and # F640801 which are for much heavier duty couplers. Due to the age of your trailer you will most likely have to replace your coupler unless you can find the parts from a used coupler. I do see we have a few options depending on the width of the pole tongue on your trailer. We have a 2" # CT-2001-Z, 2-1/2" # CT-2002-Z or 3" # CT-2003-Z option. All of these are capable of bolting on to the tongue, have a 1-7/8" ball fitment and are rated for 2,000lbs.
