Note: SeeLeveL tank monitoring systems are not compatible with metal tanks.
Traditional tank monitors have a reputation for being unreliable. Only a few sensors are installed inside, meaning that they usually only measure in quarter increments and can send false readings if they get dirty. When you're keeping an eye on how much fresh water you have, the difference between 25% full and empty means a lot, and that inaccuracy can be a problem.
The SeeLeveL tank monitoring system uses technology that can sense fluid levels from the outside of the tank. The sensors' flexible circuit board sticks in place and measures along its entire height. This makes it accurate in single-digit increments.
LPG Monitoring
Large RVs with permanent propane tanks often feature wired sensors on their gauges. These can go by different names, such as LPG gauge sensors, tank level monitors, remote ready dials, or R3D dials. If your RV has an interior panel for monitoring LPG levels, you know you're good to go with wiring already in place for an easy install. If you're not sure, check the tank itself. If the gauge has a wired sensor attached to it, you can connect it to the SeeLeveL monitor.
SeeLeveL sensors used for fresh, gray, and black tanks will not work on metal tanks of any kind, including LPG tanks.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this SeeLevel RV holding tank monitoring system with the water pump switch. And this is for your freshwater, your graywater, and your blackwater tanks, and even the propane. Now, if your RV tank monitor readings will change from 25% to empty in the blink of an eye, that could be a problem. So with the SeeLevel holding tank monitor here, you can display the levels of the RV's freshwater, graywater, and blackwater tanks at just the push of a button right down here. This will hard wire to the SeeLevel sensors here that are mounted on the outside of the tanks.
You can see has the 3M tape on the back. You just peel off and mount it to the outside of the tanks. Does include the three 12 inch sensors for the three tanks and whats nice is these sensors mount to the outside of the tanks rather than using interior probes. This will help prevent false readings caused by accumulating debris. Provides readings with single digit accuracy, and these can even be trimmed or stacked with an additional sensor to match your tank size.
One sensor, like here one 12 inch sensor can accommodate 5 inch, up to 13 inch tall tanks. If you stack it with another one, you could accommodate tanks up to 25 inches tall. Now the monitor over here, just wanna zoom in a little bit closer. This monitor will connect to your smartphone via the Bluetooth for remote monitoring. They offer a free smartphone app that's available for your iOS or Android.
And this display monitor also shows your propane levels by pushing the LPG button and your battery voltage by pushing your battery button. It does offer a diagnostic mode that'll check the status and signal strength of the sensors and the error codes alert you of any issues. If you get an error code, what you can do is check the manual for suggested solutions. Now this system is designed to work with multiple monitors so that you can check your tank status from the service bay and inside your RV. We mentioned the switch right here.
If you push that, this will activate your water pump and it has a three-way function. So it'll let you connect to switches in your bathroom, kitchen, or elsewhere. This does install very easily. All you have to do is cut a hole for the recess mount monitor to fit into and then screw it in place. Now the recess portion, I wanna measure that for you that you need to cut out, is gonna be right about three inches wide one and three quarter inches tall, by about three quarters of an inch deep. And then this'll fit right in there. If you notice, it does include the pigtail needed for installation and the existing wiring from your old tank monitor system can be used to the install. Operating temperature range, 32 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees fahrenheit. Voltage operating voltage range 11 volts to 16 volts. And the last thing I want to do is just give you the measurement, outside measurement of this whole monitor display is gonna be right at four inches by two and 13/16 inches by about one inch deep. But that should do it for the review on this SeeLevel RV holding tank monitoring system with the water pump switch for your freshwater, graywater, blackwater tanks, and propane.
