Ellen: Hey everybody, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the fixed remote for your Go Power inverter. This makes it a lot easier to check on your inverter, make sure that it's running properly or see any kind of warning signs signals coming from it, and also to turn it on and off from inside your RV so you don't have to get out and check the actual inverter. A lot of times they're mounted in not-so-easy to get to areas, so this makes it much simpler and easier and gives you that peace of mind that you can check on it anytime you want. So, it just has this little display here. We'll have our nice big power buttons, so we can, again, turn things on and off. We can talk a little bit more about the details of this remote to make sure it's the right fit for your application.Again, this does work with the Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter. It works with the 12 volt and 24 volt versions.
And as far as how to get this installed, you'll just want to connect to your inverter, make sure that you switch the . There should be a little switch to go to remote and then plug in this cable, it's 25 feet long so it should be plenty of length to get you between the inverter and the remote. Then you're just going to plug that in on the backside here. There's a little sticker over it right now, since it is only intended to be used for the 24 volt DC system. If you've got the 12 volt, you'll probably be using this plug.
It's more for work trucks though, so that's just something to keep in mind there. The display here is an LED display, so it'll give you those indicators so you can see what kind of voltage or power output you have, the inverter status, and also if it's in power saving mode. It'll also to let you know if there's any kind of overload, if it starts to get too hot or there's too much voltage or not enough voltage. It'll give you a indicator for all of those issues. The widest this will work with is between 200 and 3,000 Watts. As far as the size, we'll give you some measurements for reference. This front face measures about 3 and 7/8ths inches wide, and then about 3 and 3/8ths inches tall.
As far as the cutouts that this will fit into, it's about 3 and 1/8th inch and then about 2 and 7/8ths of an inch. Measures just about one inch deep, maybe 7/8ths going to the lift here. Overall, it's about an inch. This does not come with any mounting hardware, so you will have to pick that up on your own. The distance between those mounting holes center to center is about three and a half inches by about three inches. The input voltage that will work with this is between 10.5 and 66 volts DC operating temperature range between 32 degrees Fahrenheit and 104 degrees Fahrenheit. Again, that cable length measures 25 feet.
It weighs a little under half a pound, and that's pretty much all there is to it for our quick look at the remote for your Go Power inverter. I hope this has been helpful in the setting, if this is the right piece for you.
