Speaker 1: Today we'll be taking a look at the Titan Chain ratchet tie down strap with flat hooks. They're available in lengths of 15, 20, 25, 27, and 30 feet, depending on your need.These heavy duty straps are perfect for tying down large loads in your truck bed or trailer. The large ratchet mechanism is easy to operate and allow you to get a tight fit.The strap itself is two inches wide and it's made with a durable polyester webbing. One side of the strap features a sewn in red stripe, so you always know which side you're working with. This will help ensure that your strap is not twisted of kinked.The wide flat hooks will allow you to easily attach to frames, rails, and stake pockets. They're a powder coated steel, so they're gonna be resistant to rust and corrosion.The ratchet strap is a yellow dichromate plated steel, so it too is gonna be resistant to rust and corrosion.They have a safe working load limit of 3,335 pounds and a maximum load break strength of 10,000 pounds.They come in a quantity of one.

So pick up as many as you need to safely tie down your load.Now we'll go ahead and show you how to use it. We'll be tying down an ATV today. What I want to do is connect my flat hook to the under side of my trailer. I've done the same with the other side. Now I'll run it across my load.

I'll feed it through the ratchet, with the red stripe up, and then back over and out. And I'll pull it nice and tight. You want to take out all the slack.And then we can begin ratcheting. Get it nice and secure. From here we can put it into the locking position.

That way it won't come up. Then I can just tidy up my excess.When you reach your destination, it's easy to release the tension. We'll simply grab both levers, pull them together. Remove it from the locked position. Raise it all the way up until it breaks loose.

And then we can just guide our strap out and we're all set.Compared to the Progrip ratchet tie down straps, these are pretty similar, with nearly identical weight limits.
