Great customer support. Texted a picture of what I needed and they pulled up a part number. Shipping was quic.

by:

Works perfectly and plugs in just fine to original equipment

by:

Fast shipping. Great quality. Thanks

by:

Quick easy great product

by:

This eliminates the need for the Chrysler oem trailer connector so when damaged you can buy the GM/Ford style for 1/5 the cost. This kit is even less expensive than the big C's connector alone and is manufactured by the same company!

The item is NOT - Repeat NOT - a direct replacement for the Pollak PA66-MD40 as per the Q & A section for this part. It does NOT fit properly unless you re-drill either the actual unit or the receiver that this is attached to. Please update your description / Q&A to reflect this reality. For the record, my rig had the PA66-MD40 in it (Sprinter Van 3500XD) and the actual replacement part that DID work came directly from Mercedes.

by:

Worked fine on my RV to replace the original which got broken. Just plug in and drill 4 holes, as the screw holes did not line up, but the old holes were covered by the new bracket. don't really need the 8" cord, but it does not hurt anything.

Still working fine.

by:

Good communication. Fast shipping. Received part ordered. Fast tracking.

by:

This replaced the 7 pin connector on my Dynamax Isata 3 Motorhome. It replaced the original which had developed internal corrosion and was causing multiple electrical gremlins. It is an easy and direct replacement . If you have a MB or other brand Sprinter RV with taillight or running lights which will not turn off or other electrical gremlins, check your 7 pin connector first. This one is the right replacement.

I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty Limited and I have always hated the plug that came with the vehicle. Every time I went to tow a trailer I cringed at how long it was going to take for me to get my lights working properly. Finding a replacement piece from anywhere other than a dealer is next to impossible and the Chrysler dealer wanted a small fortune for a new plug. I finally found this piece on the website and it arrived yesterday. Other than having to drill new holes because these didn't line up this is a dream come true. I plugged in the new piece, plugged in the trailer and everything worked like a dream. Worth every penny spent!

by:

Ok. So, 1 star for fair pricing. I guess the fit applicability is getting old so a discounted price was needed to sell it. Regardless, I was satisfied with the price, until I installed it.
Second star is for the quality of the 7-pin plug. It is the same manufacturer as the OEM.
Only 2 stars!!! Reasons why: 7-pin plug is not a direct fit on my 2008 Ram 2500, even though the website said it was. The top holes are close but I had to open them up. Bottom holes are not even close. I drilled new holes in my bumper to make it fit. First time I unplugged the adapter from the plug, the plastic locking pieces disintegrated. ZERO locking capability. Had to try-wrap the connector on to make it stay. And, had to go and buy hardware to mount it to my truck. Can't replace it with an OEM part in the future because I have extra holes in my bumper. Lastly, very disappointing 2-day shipping. I paid quite a bit extra for 2-day shipping, and actually got 4-day shipping. I ordered it late Wednesday evening. It shipped Thursday but the first full day of shipment is considered the first day so that would be Friday. Ridiculous!! So, I should've got it Saturday, when I had time to install it. Not on Monday!! Where I had to install it after work after it rained!

by:

This is not a direct replacement for part number pa66-md40. The plug does fit into the factory harness but, despite the unverified endorsement from Pollak on the product page, the mounting holes are a different pattern and will require you to re-drill your bumper. Etrailer dropped the ball on this one. Search the web and buy the OEM part for a couple bucks more and do it right the first time.

by:

This adaptor works perfectly for hooking up the factory wiring harness in a non OEM Mercedes-Benz trailer hitch installation. Order the 2 factory wiring harnesses and ECU and plug this in, add whatever hitch assembly you like for a factory style installation. Don't forget to order the bracket for mounting, (PK12711U). Prompt delivery as promised.

by:

Great service, only a few days getting it in Eastern Washington State.

Unit installed easily, although the four new mounting holes had to be drilled, which was expected. Mark and drill one hole. Using the original self taping screws, bolt connector in firmly, use a clearance drill in the other three holes to mark bracket, remove connector and drill the other three tap-size holes. Replace connector and screw in all four bolts. Plug the wires together and test. Easy to do -- just a few minutes..

by:

The main great feature of this 7 way plug is the ease of installation . This is my second Chrysler plug and functionality is of great quality.

Excellent product replacement.Fits the Dodge wiring scheme to a t.The slight inconvenience of the mounting hole pattern is all the issue we experienced. But that did not take away from a 5 star rating.Etrailer is the first site I go to for any of my trailer needs,Keep up the good work! ??

by:

right part, correct fit, good price and delivered on time. dodge ram 7 pole trailer connector has my lights shinning and blinking the way they should. the pollak socket is direct replacement. etrailer comes trough again. thank you

by:

Used this to replace a damaged one on my 2016 Sprinter 3500.
Perfect fit and an easy job. Thanks etrailer!

Modified mounting bracket, installed, connected, tested and checked another item off the "to do" list.

Doing very well, should outlast truck!

by:

The ordering process was great, I found the staff to be knowledgeable and friendly. The 7 pin plug assembly I purchased did not solve my issues, but that is at no fault of etrailer.com. I got the product I ordered in a timely manner and a reasonable price. Apparently my old plug was not defective so I know have to keep troubleshooting.

by:

Unfortunately this product did not fit my 2016 Sprinter stock wiring as described

This item connects directly to the OEM wiring harness on Dodge or Chrysler trucks with included DodgeChrysler OEM plug adapter. If you have a 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 then the part you need is : Item # TK22115.

by:

Perfect fit for my 2011 Sprinter 3500 aka 2012 Airstream Interstate. Plugged right in to the factory harness using the supplied adapter. Bolt holes did not line up with the OEM plug bolt holes, but nothing a drill could not solve in short order.

by:

Actually have having a problem keeping it connected. All fits fine, but wire to factory plug gets loose and I lose lights and brakes. Has been a bit of a pain.

George M.

Product continues to work fine. Figured out how to get it to fit tighter and havent had any problems.

by:

screw holes for mounting plug in bracket TOO far apart and i had to drill new holes to make it fit. in the future you may want to inquire about this dimension before sending. product latch for cable very flimsy to back of connector mine broke. overall service good delivery time good

by:

I purchased this product so I wouldnt have to cut in to the Factory Wiring for this Trailer Plug. This part plug right into the factory wires and I was done in about 15 minutes

by:

This was the perfect replacement for factory tow hitch for my 1999.dodge ram 1500 quad cab. The only thing I had to do is drill new holes for the connector because this one is a tad bit bigger than original.

The 7-way socket will require drilling of new holes as it does not match the OEM bolt pattern. • Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness For a 1995 Dodge Ram 2500
I was unable to find much about the wires you located. That being said, you will need to test your plugs with something like # PTW2993. This will confirm which port is which function. As we do not have anything that will plug directly into your plugs, the # PK11893-11933 will need to be hardwired to get everything up an running. Due to this, it would be better to go with # PK11893 and # PK11998. This is specifically a hardwire kit so you wouldn't need to cut off the rectangular plug.

Honestly, that's most likely the issue that you're experiencing with your Tekonsha P3 # 90195 and your Pollack # PK11893-11933. I would recommend that you reconnect everything on the trailer junction box and test it out again. You also may want to consider testing the trailer out with another vehicle to see if the same issues occur; this would at least give you some confirmation as to the issue being on the trailer as opposed to within the vehicle. The first step would be to check your fuses to see if anything has gone bad.
