I've used Curt products before and this one did not disappoint. The packaging however was not up to the task. The box was open and I immediately started inspecting for damages and missing parts, thankfully the packer from etrailer completely wrapped the loose parts in reinforced tape and everything was there.

All set up, ready to roll. etrailer got me everything I needed hitch to brake control. Thank you your customer service was great!

by:

good product, easy to figure out, many options, easy to install

by:

The hitch that we ordered was shipped the day of our order and came very quickly. The installation process was simple and worked very well on our bus. This gives us the capability to tow a small trailer to carry our luggage for the youth conferences that our teens attend throughout the year.

by:

And again- another order delivered accurately and precisely as specified- thank you so much!

by:

Got it, looks like everything is there, the box didn't hold up to well to the ups shipping, typical, a smaller box packed with foam and bubble wrap may work better

by:

I received the hitch on time and installed it with no problems at all.

Thanks!

Rick

Our hitch has worked great! We pull our Jeep Wrangler behind or class A gas motorhome without any issues.

by:

Well built product. Easy install, took about 1 hour mostly for drilling holes. Be sure you have at least 2 brill bits for each size required.

by:

Received quickly and was just what I needed to solve my storage needs. Looking forward to putting it on my 5th wheel in the coming weeks.

Worked great for the application needed.

by: 06/09/2023

Good hitch easy install just drill some holes and bolt it on.

by:

Ordered this to retro fit a Class III hitch on a '63 Willys truck. So far it works perfectly. Was able to attach it directly to the frame and not lose any functionality. Also ordered C45791 Hitch extender and won't need it with this setup. All parts were included and the install instructions were clean. eTrailer also did a great job of assisting with the order to ensure that it got to me as quickly was possible.

by:

I actually ordered the wrong hitch; however, gave to a friend that needed one. He likes it. I ordered the same hitch but the 71 or 72 inch span. Had to customize the mounting to the fifth wheel camper as the camper had electric stabilizers installed. Anyway, works well, tow an 18ft deep V boat behind camper.

by:

Had it welded to the back of my pull trailer to hold a wire rack. Holds my camping chairs and dog enclosures, works great

by:

Delivery was fast. The mirrors worked out great .Easy install on my 1967 Galaxie.Trans cooler was a pretty quick installation really good instructions. The trailer hitch required a bit of work but was definitely worth it ! I'm 70 years old and didn't have a difficult time with these products. Will definitely use your products again.

by:

Hitch worked out great. Mounted it on the back of my 5th wheel. Use it to tow a Kubota RTV or my dog trailer.

by:

Had looked for a hitch to fit a 36 inch plate on my converted bus/ rv. Found this one that is adjustable on etrailer.com. I ordered and received in great packaging. Very quick turn around from order to receiving. Thank-you!

by:

Bought this to put on the back of my fifth wheel for bikes and the product is well made and instructions were good.

by:

Very pleased with this hitch, it fits my Thomas HDX bus with very little modification. only had to drill two additional holes in the frame. extreamly rugged and up for the job.

by:

Product was as advertised, great!
Dena
was particularly helpful and friendly.
Wish I needed more trailer parts, will use them in the future!

by:

We are very happy with the hitch, etc we purchased from you . Worked out well, and you folks were very helpful. Thank you!

by:

Excellent service
Cathy knew just what
I needed for my rv
Shipping two days unbelievable now that's fast
Great price for the product I ordered
Thanks again Cathy and etrailer
Will be back and my friends

by:

Very heavy duty bolt on application, just make sure you have 9/16 and 11/16 bits.
If not add another $35 to your project.
I Like it.

by:

Parts were as described, delivered promptly, and installed easily!

by:

Adjustable hitch everything there supposed to b and got it quickly very pleased

by:

Purchased this for a 1977 GMC coachman 24' Motor Home. Was not able to bolt on with out a bit of metal fabrication. Great product.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For A 1992 Ford E-350 Shuttle Bus
Hi Tad, Based on the dimensions you provided I recommend going with the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 18" to 51" Wide # C13702. This would mount under the frame with the receiver tube sitting roughly 2" below the frame. If you need an additional 2" (4" total) to clear any rear bumper/fascia then you can go with the # C13701 instead. These hitches fit frame widths from 18" - 51" and any excess can be cut off of the crosstube with a chop saw to fit. There are a few other...

  • Front Mount Hitch for a 2012 Chevy 2500 Express Van
I reached out to my rep at Curt and was able to get a couple of options for you. Both of these are going to require some modifications because there is no custom fit front hitch available for your 2012 Chevy Express 2500 Cutaway Van. Your best bet is to use the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C13701. This hitch will fit frame widths of 18" to 51" you can either use the included hardware to bolt the hitch to the frame, which will require drilling, or you can have a certified...

  • Best Way to Carry 67 lb Flyer M880 E-Bike While Towing a Trailer with a 2015 Nissan Titan
Thanks for reaching out! The Thule Insta-Gater Pro # TH93VR is a great bike rack but like you said, the weight capacity is only 50 lbs so it won't be able to properly hold your 67 lb bike. While we do have a handful of other carriers that can be used in a truck bed, unfortunately they don't have much of a weight rating either so your best solution is a hitch mounted carrier that can handle that higher weight rating. The Curt Clamp-On 3 Bike Rack # C18013 will install on what you're doing...

We'll start out making sure your RV has a hitch and wiring harness in case you don't already have them installed. To add a hitch to your 2000 Newmar Mountain Aire RV, you will want the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C13701. This is a universal hitch that has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity, which is just enough to tow your Traverse. There are no custom fit hitches for your RV. For a 7-way you'll have to hardwire one in using the Universal Wiring Harness w/ ModuLite and Brake...

  • Hitch and Ramp Door Spring for Look Element Cargo Trailer
To install a hitch, you'll want to go with an adjustable width RV hitch, the correct part will depend on how far apart your frame members are. • For an 18-51 inch frame spread, use # C13701 • For a 22-66 inch spread, use # C13704 From what I saw on the manufacturer's website, it looks like your trailer has a ramp door. We don't offer a shock absorber-type system for that, typically a garage door style torsion spring is used. The exact setup needed will depend on the inside width of the...

  • Front Mount Hitch Fitment on a 2020 Coachman Leprechaun with Chevy 4500 Cutaway Chassis
Thanks for reaching out! While I do have a possible solution for you, there aren't any custom fit front mount hitches designed for your 2019 Chevy 4500 Cutaway Chassis so for your application you'll need to use an adjustable hitch like the Curt # C13701. This will require you to trim the crossbeam of the Curt hitch as well as figure out how to fit it to your Chevy so if this isn't something you're comfortable with I recommend having a shop help you out with it. Hello Johnnie. I was able to get my hands on one of the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receivers # C13701 so I could measure. From the edge of crosstube to the receiver collar is 6.566". I made a diagram for your reference. In regards to carrying your Super Moto motorcycle, we recommend that you always remove the battery when you transport it. Not only will this help to reduce the weight/strain on your hitch, but it is a safety thing as well. In the event of a worst case scenario or collision...

  • RV Hitch Option For 2020 Gulf Stream Vintage Cruiser

The best option, which can work so long as your trailer has a Box frame, C-Channel frame, or I-Beam frame that measures between 18" and 51" is the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver - 2" Drop # C13701. I recommend the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 72" Wide # 13703 which will either bolt or weld to your vehicle frame. This cargo carrier will fit square and rectangular RV bumpers with a maximum depth of 6", and since you mentioned that your bumper is a notch over 7", this will not work. For your 2007 HS ADMIRAL SVE, your Hidden Hitch receiver sounds like it is capable of towing your trailer. The rated 5,000 lb capacity is without weight distribution, but from my research it is rated for 6,000 lbs with weight distribution just like the Curt # C13701. I recommend Curt hitch # 13703 for your trailer because it is the most versatile. This hitch will fit box, C-Channel, and I-Beam frames. It can be bolted or welded on (welding should be done by a professional welder). And it fits frame widths of 22 to 72 inches. Frame width is measured from the outside of one frame rail to the outside of the other frame rail. Because it fits so many different applications it is the best option to fit your trailer. If you were able to somehow attach the bolts with the hex flange nuts in front like in the photo I've attached, then there should be enough space.
