Can Mounting Brackets of Curt Hitch C13701 Attach Vertically to Trailer Frame
Question:
Is the tube perfectly square? can the brackets with the holes be used vertically, turned 90 deg up? The piece of frame I would weld to is angled downwards and I would want the largest piece of the metal bracket upwards to weld to the frame.

The crosstube of the Curt hitch part # C13701 is perfectly square so if you wanted to mount the brackets vertically like you mentioned you could. This is a universal style hitch that was designed to allow for this type of flexibility.
