Use this bolt-on 1-1/4" receiver to carry an RV-approved bike rack, cargo carrier, or other hitch accessory on the back of your trailer or RV. Do not use for towing. Unit fits I-beam trailers with 68-3/8" frame width.

I have a Heartland Big Horn 5th wheel and the hitch that I was told would work , did just that . It bolted right to the frame. No wielding no drilling,and works great for Rease hitch bike rack that I also purchased. No problem putting it on even though I’m 78 years old. Well maybe a little hard getting up off the ground. Been about a year and no problems. Thanks etrailer.

    Hardware is not included with the Lippert hitch part # LC240220 because not all applications would need to use the same hardware. So what you'd need to do is locally find the best hardware for your application based on the thickness of your I-beam frame and if there's any obstructions where you want to install it.

    I went out to our warehouse and took some useful measurements of the Lippert 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver part # LC240220 for you. The side brackets on the hitch are 8" long x 4" wide. The distance from the bottom edge of the bracket to the top of the receiver tube collar is right at 2-3/4". Therefore in order to make above hitch work for you, you would need to trim the bottom of the bracket about 1/4".
