Today we're going to be taking a look at the Camco RV refrigerator vent cover in black. Part number CAM42163. It's also available in white. Part number CAM42160. This vent cover keeps dirt and debris off your RV's refrigerator vent. Here you see it in black, we have the white one installed.
It's made out of an UV resistant polypropylene, so it's going to be durable and stand up to harsh rays. It fits Camco, Domestic, and newer Norcold bases, and the installation hardware is included. It can even be cut out to accommodate your solar panel. It's intended for a base that's 26 inches long and seven and a half inches wide. It's a very simple installation. After removing your old vent cover you'll simply take the mounting brackets, you'll attach them to the base, you want to make sure that they're in the upward position like that.
Then once you get those mounted, with the smaller screws first, you'll then take your new vent cover, align that up, make sure it sets in place, and then you'll take the longer screws and choose the appropriate hole. That's going to complete our look at the Camco RV refrigerator vent cover.

Hail damaged my Dometic refrigerator vent cover. I ordered this one to replace it. It is made of much better material and uses phillips screws instead of square socket caps. It fit perfectly.

Perfect replacement for my Domestic refrigerator vent cap. The designed has a lower profile and is made of much higher grade plastic. My only complaint is the cap has a area on top were rain water can collect.
