How to Properly Measure for Cut-Out Dimension
There are two main dimensions you need to know when choosing a replacement speaker or adding a new speaker or speakers to your audio setup:
Cut-Out Diameter
The cut-out diameter is the width of the circle needed to ensure the speaker mounts flush to the wall or ceiling.
Mounting Depth
The mounting depth is the depth needed behind the mounting surface for the speaker's frame and magnet structure to fit.

Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at the Jensen 24 watts recessed mount indoor RV speaker for a quantity of two. Now these indoor speakers will project sound from your TV and radio inside your RV or camper. Now these are a full range design speaker. They reproduce the high frequencies and the base sounds effectively.
They are a simple bolt on installation. The mounting hardware is not included. You can see they have the mounting holes all the way around the outer edge here. These are a black color. Now they do not come with speaker grills.
Speaker grills we do sell separately on our website. They're available in usually either a black color or a white color. This is for a quantity of two speakers.Give you a few dimensions on this. Overall dimension from one end to the other end is going to be right at 6-1/8". The total depth on it front to back is right about 2-1/8".
Now the cutout dimensions is 5" diameter and about 1-7/8" deep. The woofer diameter is going to be right at 5-1/4". The mounting holes, you can see there are six of them here. The distance between the mounting holes center to center is right at about 2-7/8". Now maximum wattage on the speaker is 24 watts.
The impedance is four ohms. Sensitivity of 90 decibels. And the frequency response is 127 Hertz to 10 kilohertz. And the magnet weight one speaker is about 2.9 ounces. But that should do it for the review on the Jensen 24 watt recessed mount indoor RV speakers for a quantity of two.
