Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at Lippert Components replacement gear motor assembly. This is going to replace the Lippert Components power gear slide-out so that you can get your slide-out functioning again.When you're looking for a replacement gear motor assembly, it can be kind of confusing. There are several different out there on the market. So the easiest thing to do is to just, first of all, make sure that whatever you're getting looks like your original, that you're not going to get one of these drive shafts and not the other.
You want to make sure that you need both of them for this one.But the easiest thing to do is to check your part numbers, make sure that they are corresponding with the one that you're taking off. So you can see this one here is part 368200. That's for our power gear slide-out. The specific part number on here is right up here at the top. You probably can't see very well.
It's the 368807.So, depending on your situation, if you have an older gear slide-out motor, you might have an older number. You can always contact Lippert and they can give you the updated number to make sure that you're getting the right part. But in most cases, you should be able to just match that number there with a new model to make sure that you're getting the right piece for your setup so that you can get back to enjoying your slide-out and have it function correctly.That's really all there is to it. I had removed the bad motor to get the slideout in so it was very easy to install the new motor. Four bolts and the two electrical connections and the slideout worked like it should.

After searching broadly for a replacement motor for my Arctic Fox 25p, I purchased and it works great. Identical, as I can tell, to the OEM Lippert.

This was superseded part and found to be longer in dimension and was tight against the frame on my 05 Phaeton. Interrupts release leaver operation and tore boot. Not really any other option to my understanding and bending the frame rail a little is other option for better fit.

Also, the motor is not sold separately. They were able to tell me that this was 12 volts and was geared 1:163. I am sorry that I could not provide more information.

When I reached out to my contact at Lippert they sent me the attached dimensional photo. My contact said most of the motor assemblies have that 11" length, but sometimes this can vary which is why it states "11 inches max" on the diagram.
