Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this Lippert high-torque replacement gear and motor assembly for the driver's side RV slide-out. Now, this is a replacement gear and motor assembly to let you smoothly operate your RV slide-out. It is designed to work with driver's side slide-outs and it uses a high torque motor, which uses the power from your RV's battery to move your slide-out. You can see it has the two wires, a black and a red wire, and this is a replacement for the slide-out motor part number 522735.

The third wire on your old motor is for the brake release which is built into the new motor so three wires is not needed, only two. The brake release wire can just be capped off as it's not used.
