Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Camco RV clear sewer extender adapter. The five inch sewer hose adapter is going to attach to your RV's black water connection to extend the sewer outlet and provide an easier to access connection. This is a clear, polycarbonate fitting that allows you to see when the tank is rinsed and fully clear. This end's going to feature the four hook bayonet fitting with the appropriate seals to offer leak proof performance. It easily connects to the RV's black water connection. This end's going to feature a four pin bayonet hub fitting that easily allows you to connect your drain hose.
Now, this fitting is designed to work with standard three inch bayonet style connections and three inch sewer hoses with bayonet fittings. I'm going to give you the extension measurement. Again, it's going to offer five inches of extension. That measurement's taken from this lip right here to the bottom of the hook. If you see that, it's going to measure right at five inches long. That's going to do it for today's look at the Camco RV clear sewer extender adapter..

The 5" long straight line fitting alignes the waste to the opening, so the 45 degree will be centered in the access opening. This permits the waste pump to attach in an upright position. Since the waste pump should not be run empty, I can see when the tanks are empty and stop the pump when necessary. When using the flush out, I can tell when the waste has cleared.
Best way I know to determine quality of flushing tanks. Especially the black tank! Actually using less water to flush now that I can see the results. Glad I bought this.
It is heart for reviewing how clean the rinsing is doing after dumping the black and gray water tanks
This was my second order with etrailer and both have been a great experience. The first order was a $600.00+ new fifth wheel hitch and was not surprised that George paid attention to that transaction and got it out the door quickly. The second order was only a few $'s and would not have been surprised if it had taken a while to rise to the top but was pleasantly pleased when it arrived in good condition and before promised.
I have always used clear extenders on sewer lines to let me know when tanks are really empty but the translucent elbow and 4 in 1 adapter is new to me and is really great to tell me when the hose has been cleaned out and is empty. Great product.
Product as described. I have the "L" shaped clear adapter also and both work as engineered.

Ive had this for a year now and its still in great shape. Works as expected and I highly recommend this product.
I have the product installed on the dump valve outlet. It's a good tool to monitor black tank flush effectiveness and to confirm tank draining is complete.
Another camper showed me his clear sewer hose adapter and it made good sense to me to have a clear section so that I would be able to see when the black water tank was clean.
This clear adapter, or one that fits your particular needs, is essential if you are interested in how well you are flushing your black water tank. Simple to use, works as it should, well worth the price.
High quality construction. I am using it to extend sewer drain. It is now easier to reach to put the hose on. I am leaving it on permanently. It is a good tight fit.

Second one I have purchased... Propped up RV door fell closed and broke the last one. Both times it arrived FAST... Great price and excellent quality product... will be doing more business... just hope it isn't the same item LOL Keep up the good work etrailer dudes and dudettes!
