Extending Sewer Hose Drain Connection on a 1988 Holiday Rambler Alumalite

Question:

I have a horrible waste system hookup in my RV. I must feed the hose from underneath the bottom of the RV to a hole about 16 inches from the outside of the unit into the plumbing bay. The horrible part is that the hole in the bottom of the plumbing bay is not wide enough to allow the female bayonet fitting to pass through. I must snake the hose in, attach the hose to the female and then attach the male and female bayonets. With this system I would still have to snake the hose under and in but attachment I hope would be much easier. My question is - what is the outer diameter of the hose and the male portion of the cam lock that goes into the RV cam lock assembly. I just want to make sure it will fit through that hole.

The overall width of the cam end of the Waste Master RV Sewer Hose # LC359724 is 5-5/8 inches with the cams closed. The hose is a standard 3 inch diameter hose.

But it sounds like what you really need is an extension such as # CAM39572 which will extend the waste drain by 5 inches. There is also a 7 inch extension, # CAM39582, and a 9 inch extension # CAM39592. The will have the same outer diameter at the bayonets as the stock drain on the RV.
