Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com today. We're taking a look at the JR Products compartment door trigger latch. This is going to replace a broken or worn out latch for your door on your interior compartment for your RV. Just has that easy action, open and close and keep everything secure. So it does have just a little angled striker there has a metal mount.
It all comes assembled as you see it. It comes with the hardware to get it in place as well.As far as the measurements it's about 3 3/4" long, and then about 4" wide. As far as total length from the center of that mounting hole to the end of our striker it's about 2 3/4". From our mounting holes on the side, it's about 3" apart. So those mounting holes, about 3" between them.
The bracket measures about 1 5/8" wide, and it's about 3/4" tall. The tab coming off the back is about 1 1/2" long, or excuse me about 1 5/8" long. Sorry, 1 3/8" long.And that's about all there is to it for our compartment or trigger latch. It does have a zinc coating and a lifetime warranty.
