Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Truxedo replacement dual latch kit. This is going to replace the dual latches for your Truxedo Truxport soft rollup Tonneau covers that we're manufactured after April of 2011. These are a direct replacement from Truxedo so you can trust they're gonna fit right in place of those original latches. No worries about fit issues or compatibility problems or anything like that. And they do include instructions with pictures to walk you through the very simple installation process.

An exact replacement item for the one I lost. It is simple to install and even comes with the mounting screw needed to install it. Directions were simple and straight forward.

The new latches have held up well.
Direct replacement. The latches fit perfectly and continue to function as expected one year later.
Compared to the old set I've had to replace, looks like a massive upgraded version, the liner sits flush now, and a pretty simple installation. My only negative thoughts are trying to adjust the tension, kinda of a two person job. Provided a picture compared old and new.
Installed the latches... they fit/operate perfectly.

Works excellent, no complaints at all.
I think the TruXport is a poor design. The latches are hard to adjust and sometimes do not actually latch. High winds opened my tonneau cover and flipped it over the cab of my truck, cracking the windshield and damaging the roof.
Good directions. I installed in 20 min. Great fit. Very smooth. Top still good after 8 years, just needed some new hardware. A lot is use the past year.

Great, no problems........
I ordered a new latch kit for an old, broken Truxport roll-up tonneau cover latch. I am not a mechanic, but the new installation was simple and straight-forward;as were,the included instructions. The new latch fit the old rail perfectly and appeared to me to be beefier with a wider surface area on the catch portion than the old latch.
Parts where a pefect fit. Very easy to replace.
Installed in less than 10 minutes and fit perfectly!
Perfect match, easy to follow directions. Replacement took about 20 minutes.
Now I just have to try to not drop my 5th wheel on then again

I installed these yesterday in approximately 15 minutes. The included instructions were fantastic. I bought my truck with a Truxport cover installed but the driver side patch was broken. I checked with a local dealership and he told me it was unable to be fixed and I would need to purchase a new cover. I checked Google and found this site. I took a chance and was. Sry impressed with the quality of the part and the great customer service! I highly recommend e-trailer!
These latches fit perfect. The instructions were simple and exactly right. Troy with etrailer was able to determine exactly the part I needed even though more than one was available for the cover type I have. Great shipping to my house in less than 24hrs. Will be purchasing more products from a trailer.

I see that this was bought for an o four Ford two fifty. This isnt listed as a fit unfortunately. Is this the vehicle you intended to use this part with?
The new latches wil be a lot better than the orignal the old ones tend to bind up with the new ones I don't think they will. the service was good and fast.
Both springs broke after about three we eks.
