Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the compartment door trigger latch. So this is going to be a direct replacement for those trigger latches, maybe something happened, it got jammed up, broken or damaged in some way, somewhere along the way.So, as you can see, if you just pull back on that, it releases the trigger. It's just a little spring loaded latch. So it comes assembled as you see it, and it also comes with the four screws to get this attached.

As far as the measurements from side to side, our bracket measures about three and three eighths of an inch long. From front to back, it's about three and a quarter inches long.The distance between those two side mounting holes, center to center, is about two and seven eighth inches. From the front to where it starts at that mounting hole, and that tab at the back is about two and a half inches to about two and seven eighths of an inch, maybe right at three inches. So as long as you're.. That lines up with everything, side to side here, it's about one and five eighths of an inch across.

And then our trigger comes out by about a half inch, maybe about, actually yes, about a half inch from the plate there. The total depth or height however you want to look at it, is about, a little over half an inch, about five eighths of an inch.So hopefully that gives you an idea if this is going to fit your particular application. This is going to be an End Mount. So it mountains the end of that door and latch is in place.That's going to do it for our look at the compartment door trigger latch.
