Locking aluminum rack installs easily on your rails, include load stops, and works with most Thule accesseries.This rack looks great on my 2017 Toyota Tacoma. My truck has a hard top Tonneau cover and bed rail system. The rack will fit look closely at my pictures for installation.This was not hard to do if you are mechanically inclined. It will take you a bit of time to mount on the truck. Rack come with keys to keep someone from taking it. After seeing firsthand what it took to mount on the truck if a crook wants this rack it will take him/her a good amount of time to remove even if you do not put the locks on the bed rail clamps. Good and solid with the canoe on top. I gave it several test runs on the interstate at 70 mph.Would have gave this rack five stars but it takes a bit of messing around to install. Leaving for and eight hour tip to the Adirondacks soon i will update this when i return.
Installed on a 2023 Tacoma. Rack arrived well packaged and on time. Etrailer’s installation video was super helpful, finished installing my rack in a couple hours. Using it to transport surfboards to the beach! So far so good.
The set a if Ladder Racks went together real easy. I put them together myself in a little over an hour. I think the look perfect too.

thule racks were junk. package had been opened,parts missing. looked like a return that has been re-sold.
etrailer CS was OK. Took a long time to resolve..
Box came kinda messed up ,but everything in side was fine ,took about 4 hours to put together, the xk4 clamps were kinda hard to get on there but in the end it was a good catch and being this was a special order for a tacoma 17
A great looking product with decent load capacity, but here’s a few issues for me:
1. The instructions are terrible. No words, just pictograms (like IKEA furniture). I had lots of head scratching as there’s extra parts for multiple fits.
2. The stanthions are very difficult to slide up and down. The knobs falls off before the mechanism even loosens.
3. The stanthions do not lower as far as I hoped. The profile of the Tacoma bed prevents them from lowering all the way to the bed floor. Wish I knew this before I purchased. This is a big deal.
4. Tightening the bolts that retain the brackets to the bed rails is finicky at best, and they have loosened over time requiring retightening.
This rack is expensive and has to be super popular with Taco owners so one would think they would have ironed these issues out in advance.
Well-constructed and easy to adjust.
This rack is perfect for my purpose. I routinely get lumber for woodworking that is 12 foot long. With this rack and a rooftop rack option for my Tacoma it is very easy to transport it. The only thing that would improve it is if it were somehow modified so that it could be adjusted down all the way. The Tacoma truck bed sides get in the way of lowering the rack very far.

Product works great, just wish there was more instructions and better detailed instructions. There was no instructions for the adapter kit for the rail system in my truck.

Ability to raise and lower the rack is very useful. It allows me to keep the boats as low to the ground/truck cab as possible for easier loading/unloading. I can raise the rear rack and load a motorcycle without removing it. I have removed the endcaps and run straps through the crossbars and was able to load two 17 aluminum canoes at once. Note, the endcaps are a bit delicate and extremely expensive to replace!
I recently made a 4 hour trip home after picking up a new kayak while using the following equipment for the first time: Thule Xsporter Pro Truck Bed Ladder Rack, Thule Hull-A-Port Kayak Carrier w/Tie-Downs - J-Style, Thule Watersports Adapter for Aeroblade/Aeroblade Edge Bars and Thule Bow/Stern Tie-Downs. I'm impressed with the performance of all of those components.
Did some trimming on the truck bed rail to get max distance between brackets. I use the raise lower and removal function often and it’s ease to do. Only con is that I haven’t found a tonneau cover that works with it due to the bracket wrapping the bedrail.
Love these because of the adjustability. I can carry my tent lower than the roofline, or use to carry my canoe above it. The adjustable stops make it easy to change depending on whatever load you're running, ladders, plywood, a boat, etc! The black powder coat happens to match my truck perfectly.
The Thule Xsporter Pro fits perfectly on my 2006 Tundra. Easy to install. Very study. I also want to mention the outstanding customer service provided by Samantha H at etrailer. She answered all my questions during the ordering process and kept me informed when product shipped. I received the product two days earlier than initially quoted.
I ordered a truck rack Monday Sept 17th just after 8am pacific time. Within an hour I received an e-mail that the order was being processed. A short time later i received an e-mail that the order had shipped . I received my order on Friday the 21st. I have installed the Rack in my truck and it looks great. It was a HOT and sweaty install, but then I live in Kihei, HI where surfboards need a ride to the
beach! ALL the parts and pieces were there, very helpful. Measured, tested; made sure my truck would fit in the garage. After looking at dozens of options I was so glad I bought this.
Probably the best rack I have ever purchased, I was looking for a ladder rack that could adjust easily to fit in a parking garage. Directions were very clear and easy to follow. All required tools are supplied. This rack can be removed fast if needed, and has lockable fittings to keep others from easily removing it.
Thule bars are well made and install easily. Look great on my 2022 Tacoma...just ensure you get the additional install kit for the Toyota track system. AT the time of purchase no was sure if the TracOne adapter kit would work...it does. On the negative side....The cross bars were dimpled from shipping as you can see in the photo. Good news is that etrailer customer service was able to arrange two new bars to be sent as replacement. Excellent customer service!

Great, been a year and have taken them off and on and they are still holding strong . Would def buy again if i needed to.
