Defeat the darkness with the Xmitter Low Profile Prime Xtreme light bar. This extremely bright, 195-watt LED light bar uses precision optics to shoot out a narrow 10-degree spot beam for focused light that goes a great distance. Its compact, low-profile design allows it to mount in places where many other light bars won't fit. In addition to delivering maximum usable light and stellar efficiency, this light bar also gives you the same rugged, off-road look you've come to expect from similar, industry-standard halogen and HID off-road lights. So you won't have to sacrifice the look that you want to get the visibility that you need.
The beam pattern of this light is great for seeing at a distance. The narrow 10-degree beam concentrates the light at a single point. This makes it ideal for high-speed, off-road driving applications where distance vision is vital.
Although LED lights typically produce far less heat than halogen or HID lights, heat is still the biggest enemy of an LED. Vision X controls and combats heat with Prime Drive technology. This technology combines electronic thermal management (ETM) with pulse-width modulation (PWM) for superior heat resistance. The result is ultra-bright lights with the highest output, the lease amount of wasted ligth and energy, and the longest life span.
Many LEDs on the market are only driven to 60 percent of their potential to avoid overheating, electrical spikes, and premmature failures. But the Vision X ETM system allows the LEDs in their lights to be drive to 90 percent of their potential. The system monitors each LED's heat level to keep the light operating at a safe temperature, which maximizes its efficiency and life span.
If the ETM system senses that the LED is getting too hot, it engages the pulse width modulation (PWM), which flashes the light at a rate of 100,000 times per second - faster than the human eye can detect. This gives the LED time to cool between cycles while still maintaining its overall brightness. It also allows the LED to be dimmed when used with a Vision X dimmer (sold separately).
Not all LEDs are created equal. Lower-grade LEDs, which make up a large portion of the market, produce more heat at the same wattage and have a much shorter life span. Vision X only uses top-quality LEDs for their products. LED manufacturers utilize a process known as "binning" to classify the quality of LEDs within each batch produced. Vision X uses only top-binned LEDs to ensure the highest quality possible.
Vision X products are built to perform under the toughest conditions. Sealed housing protects the lights sensitive internal electronics against water, dirt, and dust. An impact-resistant polycarbonate lens with a scratch-resistant coating covers the front of the light. The bottom of the light features vibration dampening rubber to prevent damage to the LEDs from bumps and impacts.
A rugged, black powder coated aluminum housing resists corrosion and rust. Channeled fins work with the air for convection-style cooling. Additionally Vision X lights are all thoroughly tested and protected against voltage spikes, and interference with radio reception and vehicle wiring.
The wiring harness is also triple sealed to ensure a waterproof connection to its industry-standard Deutsch connector. The included mounting hardware is built to resist vibration and corrosion, keeping the light firmly in place.
Vision X runs extensive testing on all of their products to ensure performance under the harshest conditions. This commitment to providing the best lighting solutions possible is one of the reasons why Vision X products are used by NASA. Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. This light has a 20,592 raw lumen capacity and produces 14,430 effective lumens.

Today we're going to review part number XIL-LPX3910, this is the Vision X Xmitter 195 watt LED low pro prime extreme light bar, gives off a spot beam. This part number include everything shown here on the table, the light bar, the wiring harness with the toggle switch, 7 of the mounting hardware to install it and an Allen wrench which is used, there's an Allen bolt on each side here that when you adjust your light bar you can tighten it down if you want it in a certain position. This is a low profile LED light bar, provides bright focus light, gives you a narrow 10 degree spot beam which is ideal for high speed off-road application, is a very slim design which allows for mounting in compact spaces, gives you superior light output from a single row of 39 5 watt LEDs, gets you your total of 195 watts. This light can be dimmed to 50% using a Vision X dimmer, we do sell those separately. There's 2 different ones they make, they'll be listed as related product on this product page and the one is a push button, the other is a dial dimmer, so either one would work with this. This light bar will give you maximum efficiency with minimal heat, the premium LEDs on it have a 50,000 hour lifespan and are drive to 90% of the light emitting potential.
It does use electronic thermal management or ETM technology and also pulse with modulation and this will allow for highest potential light output at all times. The very back of this, they have channeled fins and this will allow the heat to quickly dissipate, basically the air running over those fins would cool it. It is a durable weather resistant construction, has a nice rugged black powder coat aluminum housing which is light weight and rust proof, the mounting hardware includes the high tensile stainless steel bolts with the connectors and this will help you withstand the vibration. The lens on this is an impact resistant poly carbonate lens, has a scratch resistant coating. It is very easy to install with these components, basically you can mount this light bar to your roof, your roll bar, your bumper, grill guard or bowl bar for that rugged look.
Basically these universal mounting feet right here, you just flip this over, I'll show you, you'll see right here there's 7 openings right here and basically there's seven of the mounting bolts so basically what you would do is just go to the middle hole, drop them into place just like that, do that all the way down and then you tighten them down and once they're all in there you can rotate this light bar, you can see it will rotate up to 15 degrees of adjustment. Then once you get it to a spot where you don't want it to move, you can use that Allen wrench and tighten the Allen bolts down on each end. We also sell Billet clamp mounts that can be mounted on here, they are also sold separately as a related product on this product page and they'll fit, they're a round clamp that would mount over 1 inch to 2 inch tubing and those again are sold separately. Now this wiring harness right here, does have the toggle switch right here for on and off, does have the 12 volt relays, some inline 30 amp fuses, all the wire in this is a 14 gage wire and the actual toggle switch has a wire that's about 10 foot long, so you can locate the switch wherever you'd like. The other nice feature is on the other end here is the industry standard triple seal deutsch connector which would plug into the connector here on the light bar and basically what happens there is when you plug this in, you'll notice there's orange rings around here, that's a triple seal and when it plugs in, it would be real snug and it seals it and makes it weatherproof and then it clicks and locks into place, so it keeps the elements from getting to your connection to your light bar. A few specs on his again, it's 39 diodes on the bar, they're 195 watts total, which is 5 watts per LED. Power draw on this is 16.25 amps, input voltage is 9 volts, 32 volts DC, comes with a limited lifetime warranty, the light output, the effective lumen output on this bar is 13,459 lumens, the raw lumen output is 19,227 lumens, again the beam it gives off is a narrow 10 degree spot, dimensions on this is 50 inches long, about 2 inches tall by 2 1/2 inches deep. So what I'm going to do now is actually plug it in and give you an idea, actually on this cord you'll see this little yellow wire sticking up, that's actually for the dimmer, that's where you'd hook your dimmer to, but I'm going to go ahead and plug this in to a 12 volt power source, once that's all plugged in, I'm going to go ahead and turn off the overhead lights and with the overhead lights off we're going to go ahead and turn on the 12 volt power and you can just see how bright the lights are all lit up, 5 watts each, so a total of 195 watts, it's very spot beam.
