This lunette ring bolts onto the front of your trailer so you can couple to a pintle hook. The back of the square base is smooth for flush mounting to flat surfaces. Hardware sold separately. Powder coated forged steel resists rust.

To connect my 24000 lb trailer to a larger dump truck, I had to purchase this 60000 lb ring. It seems to be made well, and fits the trucks pintle hitch with very little slop. I would recommend this lunette ring for anyone needing a 3 inch ring. Not really much more I can say about it, and working with etrailer was great. They even upgraded my shipping for free. I would definitely purchase from etrailer again. A+

- Dimensions of the Curt Lunette Ring # C48560Curt lunette ring # C48560 has 4 bolt holes that are spaced 4-1/2 inches apart on center left to right and top to bottom. The base is 6-1/4 inches by 6-1/4 inches. The opening in the ring is 3 inches in diameter. The mounting holes are 1/2 inch in diameter. For installation I recommend 3/4 inch grade 8 bolts obtained locally. Bolts are not included with the ring.
