1" Thick trailer nose plate from Buyers Products accepts standard 4-1/2" square bolt patterns found on most lunette rings. Three mounting positions accomodate multiple different heights and add flexibility in locating the lunette ring.

Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Buyer's Products, mounting plate for your lunette ring. This is a one inch thick solid carbon steel construction, so it's going to be very easy to mount onto your trailer. Give you a nice, solid place to mount your lunette ring or other coupler so that you can haul those heavy loads. It is one inch thick by seven inches wide, and 16 inches tall.Now our holes here are five eighths inch diameter holes, and they are right at four and a half inches apart center to center, both horizontally and vertically, so it will work with different four and a half inch square bolt pattern lunette rings, including the one that you see on the screen there, so if you're needing a lunette ring, that's a great option for you, but something similar to that would also work.Because we have the three mounting locations, it is going to allow you versatility and where you have that mounted so that it will line up better with your tow vehicle so that everything is going to be nice and level as you're towing.This is made here in the USA, and I think this is going to do a great job for those of you who have some heavy duty towing to do, and you want to get that trailer ready to hook up to your pintle hook on your tow vehicle.

I recommend having the Buyers Products 5-Position Adjustable Lunette Ring with 3" Heavy-Duty Channel # 337B20145 welded to the front of your trailer tongue. This will make much easier to adjust the couple to different heights if used with different trucks.

I've linked a video showing them being measured. Also, the holes themselves are 5/8 inch in diameter. We carry a couple nose plates that match up to the lunette ring; part # 337TNP716625750 is a 3/4 inch thick plate and part # 337TNP716750100 is 1 inch thick.
