Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this THULE Ladder Rack Adapter Kit. Now, this kit is going to adapt your THULE XSporter Pro and Tracone Truck Bed Ladder Rack System for use on your factory bedrail system in your 2016 and Newer Toyota Tacoma, so that you'll be able to use your ladder rack with your Toyota Tacoma's factory bedrail system. So this is going to replace the existing clamps on your XSporter Pro. These clamps will slide inside the tracks on the Tacoma bedrails, so you're gonna have a nice, secure connection.
These are also gonna be compatible with your secure lock clamp covers that come with your XSporter Pro system. So you are still gonna be able to lock the clamps to the bedrails. This kit includes eight of these clamps and the eight screws that you will need. You can see this is a nice silver color, so it is going to match your silver systems. We also have it in black.
If you have a black ladder rack, you're wanting to keep that style the same, you can find that here at etrailer.com using the part number that you see on the screen there. But overall, really simple way to switch out those clamps and to make sure that it's gonna work with your Tacoma. That completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Clamp assemblies slide into the Tacoma tracks for installation.Works as advertised. I bought these to use with the Harbor Freight ladder rack to attach to 2019 Toyota Tacoma. I did have to purchase shorter bolts at the hardware store.
The clamps worked great, but I had to modify the rack to fit because of the pins that hold down my tonneau cover. I had to cut notches in the parts that set on the bed rails. When I installed the new hold down brackets in the the channel Ihad to flair the channels slightlyat each end to get them around the tonneau cover hold down pins. All in all it worked out well. Very satisfied.
I cannot finish the rack cause some of the parts was not in stock so I tried the bracket on and it fits!

This was my second attempt at fitting TracOne ladder racks to my 2016 Tacoma bed rail system, this fit perfectly and came with hardware. I also ordered part number PT-27300, directly from Thule, for an even better fit and to protect my bedrails from damage.
Clamps fit my truck and rack perfectly, with no issues. Good product and shipping couldn’t have been faster.
