Fantastic product and great company to work with
I used it for a while to store our large Thule bike rack on a wall in the garage. Then I got a dolly for the bike rack that rolls around and put the hitch in a dump trailer to use for a large bike trip to the Hiawatha trail. It worked great. Both time I just used lag bolts into lumber to mount it.
Exactly what i was looking for, this product allowed me to replace the pintle ball on the back of my mason dump truck, and replace it with a two inch receiver. Now, i am not limited to pintle hook trailers and i can use a drop receiver for lower trailers. Very heavy-duty construction. Best price from etrailer.

Mounted to the frame of my Exmark Vantage commercial mower to move my 5x8 trailer around. Works great, nice welds, and well-constructed.
I bought this to put on the back of my small tractor to put a trailer ball on to move a log splitter and small trailer around as needed. It is very heavy duty and well made and works perfectly. A good product I would recommend to anyone.

Great buy, I can use a motorhome tow bar in a tractor.
This receiver is going to work great. I'm going to mount it on the front of boat trailer and use it with the hitch stair with 2 steps to make it easier to climb into the front of my boat. If I remember to do so, I'll do a follow up review with pictures when I finish mounting it.

It works great. Im still going have something fabricated for the steps to provide a grab handle.

Thank you for providing a fantastic product that is being used to attach a quick hitch mounted with a winch to my tilt trailer. This receiver tube will allow for multiple uses of my winch in many other applications.

Fantastic... better than I imagined.
We put this on a dump truck and pull a 14k tilted trailer. Works as advertised and saved us a lot of fabricating. The only complaint is after a year the hitch pin hole is starting to swell out to the back.

I have never heard of this. It would make since that after years of wear and tear, a new hitch may be needed, but this should not happen after a year. Although, on a dump truck, things could be a little different. I would think you would need a new hitch receiver and I would also purchase an anti-rattle device like item # RM-061, because a lot of jarring can cause hitch receivers to wear more rapidly.

used grade 8 bolts, holds my salter fine. Bought the backplate as well, matched perfectly. It is adjustable, but not real practical to do that, best to get a drop hitch ball, much easier. but helped when setting where to mount
Bolts on easily using 1/2 inch bolts. The truck mounting plate must be made with multiple holes for an adjustable pintle hook or holes have to be drilled. If the original truck plate has 3 rolls of holes it will bolt right on using the top and bottom row, skipping the middle row.
etrailer is the best place to buy hitch & trailer parts. They carry hard to find items and there service is outstanding! The 2" receiver mount I purchased was bolted to a steel beam in my shop so I could mount my 2" receiver mobile vise. Great product and great service!

I found this receiver at etrailer for $xx.xx and then shopped at a local truck body parts store. I showed him a photo from etrailer and he had the exact receiver. But...he wanted $175. Easy decision. Ordered it from etrailer and in 2 days had it. Simple.
Holes do not line up with standard pintle hook mounting holes, other than that it should be fine.
Heavy duty steel, looks good and is definitely class 3 and better.
