Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at an 8" long weld-on 2 1/2" plain receiver tube. Now, this weld-on receiver tube is available in a variety of lengths, dimensions, and finishes to match your towing needs. This one is an 8" long version. This 2 1/2" inch receiver tube features this 3/4" wide solid stress collar opening. The 8" tube contains a 5/8" diameter hitch pin hole, and it can achieve a rating of up to 20,000 lbs. And also what you can do is, you can cut this unfinished tube to a custom length if needed.
It is a carbon steel construction, has a plain finish to it. And again, the tube length, I'm just going to put a ruler on it, it's going to be right at 8" long. Maximum gross trailer weight capacity is 20,000 lbs. and the last measurement I want to give you is from the center of the hitch pin hole to the front face of the hitch. That'll be right at 2 1/2".
But that should do it for the review on the 8" long weld-on 2 1/2" plain receiver tube.

- Do You Have a Aftermarket 2-1/2" Receiver For a 2012 Ford Expedition? I have some options for you as there is currently not a custom fit receiver for your 2012 Ford Expedition. First we have the 2-1/2" Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets # C37CR. You will be able to weld this onto the frame rails of your Expedition. Do note the basic design of this receiver as it will likely result in lower ground clearance. Otherwise we have the 2-1/2" Receiver Tube # 337RT255808 and Safety Chain Loop # E950 which you will be able to take to a welding shop...

For a 12-inch-long bar you can use part # 337RT255812 or for an even shorter 8-inch bar you can use # 337RT255808.
