With the B&W Turnoverball underbed gooseneck trailer hitch you get the best of both worlds. When you go to tow, the Turnoverball creates a sturdy, dependable connection with your gooseneck trailer. And when you're done towing, you can stow the ball upside down in the hitch to get full bed access and a clean appearance.

Easy-to-Remove, Simple-to-Store Hitch Ball

The durable steel hitch ball included with the Turnoverball system secures in the hitch with a sturdy, 5/8" thick steel pin that is incorporated into the end of the operating handle. To lock the ball in place, drop it into the hitch hole in the bed of your truck. Then rotate the handle in your driver's-side wheel well counterclockwise until the latch engages. When the latch is engaged, the spring-loaded pin on the end of the handle will be inserted all the way through the base of the hitch ball, forming a strong, solid connection and ensuring absolute security when you're towing.

B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch Operation

When you're done towing, remove the hitch ball by simply pulling the handle out as far as it will go and then rotating it clockwise until it unlatches. Remove the ball, flip it upside down, and drop it back into the ball hole of the hitch. Then reengage the latch to secure the stowed ball in place.

Unlike typical gooseneck balls - which have round bases - the Turnoverball hitch ball is designed with a square base. This makes latching the ball in the hitch easier because the base won't rotate inside of the hitch like a round base might, so lining the pin up is a snap. The base of the ball also fits tightly within the ball hole during storage. Because only the corners of the base contact the sides of the socket, any dirt or grime that gets into the hitch will fall through the socket, thus helping to prevent any buildup that could cause the ball to seize up in the hitch.

Simple, Custom Installation

This hitch is custom designed for your Ford F-250 Super Duty. The included mounting brackets bolt to existing holes in your truck's frame. While some modification is required - you will need to cut a 4" diameter hole in your bed for the hitch ball and drill holes for the built-in safety chain loops - there is no need to weld onto or to drill into your frame.

Once you have the hitch brackets and body installed, set up the operating handle. This handle is designed to be accessed from the rear driver's-side wheel well. On the end of the handle is the heavy-duty steel pin that secures the hitch ball.

B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch Accessories

B&W makes it easy to tow just about anything. With the many adapters and accessories available, the Turnoverball can be made to work with almost any gooseneck trailer. Hitch balls are available that have a built-in rise, an offset, and even a different connection type. Add on the Companion fifth-wheel hitch - which attaches directly to the Turnoverball with no other parts required - and you can tow your fifth-wheel trailer.

I received this hitch right after I broke my foot. When I saw the package I noticed one end was damaged in shipping. I received a phone call asking how the install was going and explained that it was going to be awhile before I could install it. When I finally got to it everything was there and it installed perfectly. I received a follow up email asking if everything went well and if I was missing anything. Awesome company to deal with. Thank you George

by:

Difficult to determine installation ease, as I had the bed off my truck while installing. That made it very easy, but instructions were good and its a straightforward process. Very well made, and fit precisely on my truck. I think the B&W system is very tough to beat. Solid and dependable. And their after sale customer service is excellent.

by:

The hitch is beefy and seem to be very strong. My guess is the truck frame will give before the hitch. Great quality. I very happy! I'm an above average backyard mechanic and found the installation doable, but a little of a challenge. Differently need a help. My wife was a big help. I use a 2X4 across my bed and a ratchet strap to lift and hold the center section in to position. I also had to reposition my exhaust pipe where it goes over the differential to get some clearance. Also, I had to drill out one of the square holes in the tailpipe L bracket to receive the factory bolt.

Great service and a great product! Quick delivery and good communication regarding status. Of course it’s a great hitch, it’s a B&W…

I am enjoying my B&W turnover hitch very much after a year of owning it. B&W has the friendliest, most helpful customer service as well. I’ll be using their products for years to come. You can’t beat their quality and customer service!

by:

Quickly shipped. Easy to install. Did the install by myself in about 3.5 hours without a lift. I do have an older truck so I didn’t have to lower the exhaust or notch anything to install.

Quick and easy Install. Took 30 minutes to install after opening the box! Would buy it again.

by:

Love B&W products! One minor complaint is packaging could be more robust. Package arrived having been broken open and retaped by carrier. Fortunately, all the parts were there.

by:

B & W builds high quality products, this is my second turn over ball hitch because the first one worked so well. Etrailer is my go to supplier. They know what they are doing. I ordered this hitch and it arrived the next day.Wow!
Thanks etrailer you are the best!

by:

ETrailer was really helpful when I called them with a question. Was installing pretty easy but since I have a older truck bed wasn’t exactly straight so put 2x4 under floor jack and was able to raise it enough to install my rails underneath without it hitting shock like it was first doing. Took few hours but looks good. Haven’t used it so can’t give a rating for how well it actually tows heavy loads. I plan on towing my gooseneck trailer with tractor which should be around 25k pounds.

Works great, I have no complaints. Will buy again for any other truck I have that needs one.

by:

I am extremely happy with the hitch and the install was very quick and professional I will definitely be back for my next truck

by:

Luckily I had a friend with a vehicle lift and it only took two hours from start to finish. Fairly easy instructions to follow, no modifications were needed. I recommend this hitch and would definitely install it in another truck. Construction of the hitch was top notch.

Totally fine, no issues at all.

by:

The hitch was exactly as the description stated . Fit perfectly in truck and works great . It’s being used 2-3 days a week since installed a year ago . Thanks

by:

Good heavy built piece of equipment, but not too crazy about how it's mounted to my truck. Would love to discuss the design with your engineer, especially when the bed is removed or lifted off of the frame to install. Other than design, I'm happy with it.

The under bed hitch is doing exactly what I want it to do. The handle for te pin is garbage need to be a T shape to keep a good grip on it. Should have put a grease hole and fitting at the pin for lubrication because it can have a tendency to stick. Like I said at purchase, it is well built.

2009 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty

It took me a while to get this hitch installed because there were after market airbag suspension supports that were in the way. After I removed them the installation went a bit smoother. The B&W instructions were so light, I was glad to had the opportunity to view the etrailer.com resource video and other helpful informaiton in determining the rear airbag support could be removed without causing a structural issue to the truck.
So if you got these airbags install, know that they can be removed so you can take advantage of this high quality hitching system. I used impact wrenches to loosen the old and install the new bolts... made life a lot easier than with the standard wrenches, so worth the price i invested in the right tools for the job.

by:

The product was a perfect fit - no drilling required. By the way, Chole C was very helpful in the ordering selection process.

by:

Suprised how quickly again etrailer was on shipping out!
Holiday week and the they had it on its way the day I ordered it.
I always have had great success with etrailer.
Simple to install hitch with the directions and online video instructions.
Hardest part was drilling the 4" hole in the floor of the bed. Again the video had excellent tips to aide with that.
We were really surprised how quickly it was to install.
Absolutely love the quick way the ball flips over to remove it out of the way for the use of the truck bed.
Only thing I would do different, order the rubber cover for the bottom of the ball to keep debris out of the hitch while inverted.
Going to place an order for one now from etrailer!

2006 FordF-250 Super Duty

I purchased the B & W turnover ball hitch from E Trailer for my 2006 Ford F250 SuperDuty. Jan in customer service was very helpful. I received the hitch within 2 days. My wife and I installed it according to the instructions and installation video on their website. E trailer really did their homework on the installation of their hitches. We got the hitch insatlled with minimal problems. All you have to do is follow the video/instuctions. I am very pleased with the hitch and would recommend ETrailer and the B&W hitch to anyone who tows. I tow a 5th wheel with a Ranch Hitch Gooseneck adapter. Now I dont have to deal with the 5th wheel hitch in the bed of my truck. I will continue to purchase other towing accessories from ETrailer. A wonderful experience.

Like all B&W products, this hitch installed easily and functioned as designed!

2012 Ford Transit Connect

This was my Second Hitch to order from etrailer. The first was on my 2012 Ford Transit Connect. This time was on my newly purchased 2008 Ford F250 Super Duty Diesel truck. It did not have the Goosneck Hitch and I have Horses and use a Trailer to transport them. Instead of paying Much More to have the hitch put in, I elected to do it myself. I looked at the Video and read the instructions Twice before starting. Since I am almost 75, I need the help of my son. While he was at work, I did most of the work myself. When he got off work, we finished the job. I will continue to purchase from etrailer. The items fit Perfectly and instructions are Great. In the picture, is Sophie, my dog which watched as we worked.

@Ambyr We're glad it's working well for you!

by:

The hitch installation was extremely easy for my truck, because I had the bed off of it for replacement anyway. The hitch is very easy to use and works great. The only issue I had was the safety chain bolts. The originals were rounded and not squared off to sit in the bed properly. I called B&W and they sent a new set that fit as they are intended. Would definitely recommend this hitch to anyone needing to add a gooseneck hitch to their truck.

by:

Fairly easy to install with no experience and I like the quality of the hitch. So far so good.

by:

Great product have had many of them over the years!

by:

Really nice set up, easy to install just follow the directions. No surprises and shipping was a day early
