Installation of B&W Turnoverball on 2006 Ford F-350 With Line-X Spray-In Bed Liner
Question:
Hi Starting install on 2006 F350 4X4 w/8foot bed. The truck bed has a Line-X spray in bed liner applied. Is there any compensation necessary while drilling 4inch hole due to this bed liner? Someone who installed one said yes while i am thinking Center is center. Thanks

When you install the # BWGNRK1108 on your 2006 F-350 you will need to compensate for the thickness of the bed liner. The instructions state "If your truck has a spray-in bed liner you will need to take this into account when you are measuring, and add the thickness of the applied liner that has been sprayed over the end of the bed." This can be found on page 2 of the installation instructions.
The reason for this is because the measurement needs to be exact. Assuming you have no bed liner you are measuring 47" from the end of the truck box. If your liner is 1/4" thick that pushes the end of the truck bed back 1/4" which would throw off the measurement if you didn't account for it so you would need to measure 47-1/4" from the end.
I have attached an installation video along with the written instructions below for your reference.
