• Troubleshooting Short to Battery Message with Prodigy P3 Controller When it Rains
  Water is seeping into the new 7-way most likely and is causing a short between the 12 volt output circuit and the brake output circuit. The water is somehow getting introduced into the round connector behind the 7-way. It could also be at the 7-way at the rear of the vehicle too. I'd recommend taking the connector apart to allow it to dry and then using dielectric grease like part # 11755 which will prevent the water from getting back in.
