Race Ramps Wheel Cribs are sturdy, solid foam blocks that serve as a tough, but lightweight and rustproof alternative to jackstands. When stacked, they keep the front or rear of your vehicle safely lifted 12" off the ground for service or display. This allows you to perform routine maintenance such as changing your oil, drive belt, or transmission fluid. Additionally, you can use the cribs for display. To use the wheel cribs, raise your vehicle high enough to slide a crib under each tire, then lower your vehicle. The tires will sit snugly in the precision-molded concave cutouts.

These cribs are made of ultra-strong, solid core, high-density EPS foam that won't crack or bounce. Each crib supports 1,500 lbs - giving you a total weight capacity of 3,000 lbs for lifting a vehicle for service or display. The cribs are lightweight, weighing only 3 pounds per crib, so you can transport and store them with ease.
The cribs are covered with a textured coating and are flat on one side. This keeps them from skidding while your vehicle is lifted. The coating is a hybrid polyurea compound that is resistant to water and other automotive chemicals commonly found around the garage. And although this coating is durable, it will not scratch, mark, or scrape your garage floor or the ground.

Today we will be taking a look at the Race Ramps stackable wheel cribs for service and display. This is going to have our two cribs to lift our vehicle up to 12 inches, but then we can also use each of those stacks, so we'll have four cribs total to lift it just six inches. This is especially handy whenever you have a lower vehicle or something where it's harder to get those jack stands in place so you can lift your vehicle incrementally so you don't have to worry about it getting a little wobbly or unsafe. You can use each cradle to put in place and then jack up the other side, and then once you get it to the height you want you can have the full 12 inches.These are made of a lightweight but very durable and strong high-density ESP, which is a expanded polystyrene foam. Now I know I said it was foam, but it doesn't have any give to it. So it's very durable.
See, I'm really pressing on it, but it doesn't compress at all. So that's going to hold a good amount of weight. You don't have to worry about these bouncing or cracking. And they're also durable enough to resist any slipping or sliding. No water damage, it's not damaged by any automotive fluids, so if you get a little brake cleaner or gasoline on this, it's able to withstand all those fluids that you typically have around your vehicle.So it's not going to crack or fade.
Has a texturized material on top, it's kind of like coarse sand paper. So that gives it some grip to it. It's not just a smooth surface. It's not so scratchy that it's going to do any damage to our floor if we move it along there. But it does have a good grip.A handy thing that's printed on the bottom of each of those cradles is the weight capacity.
So each one of these can hold up to 1,500 pounds, or 1,500 pounds. So you'll always be able to refer back to that.And that just goes for the whole set. So just because we have these two together does not mean that now we can handle 3,000 pounds for this. It just means that each pillar is capable of holding 1,500 pounds. So whenever we have them stacked like this, 1,500 pounds here, 1,500 pounds here for a total of 3,000 between the two of them.
And then we can have them spread out like this, and again, it'll be able to hold 1,500 pounds per cradle.They have this kind of grooved channel there to hold our top crib pretty well. So they lock into place. Doesn't really move too much on either side. You do have to use a jack to put these in place. You can't just drive onto them as they are here.They're very lightweight, even though they are very durable. So it's pretty easy to get them in place, easy to store. As far as dimensions, these are going to work with vehicles that have tires up to 10 inches wide. Each cradle is about 11 and three quarters inches wide. And they'll also work with tires that have a diameter between 24 and 30 inches.Whenever we have them stacked like this, it's 15 and a half inches long at the base and then 12 inches wide going front to back. So 11 and three quarters inches wide, and then 13 and a quarter inches tall going to this top portion. The middle portion right here, from bottom to top, is 12 inches.For each of our stacked portions, that base stays the same, so it's 11 and three quarters by 15 and a half. But now it's just six inches tall.Each crib weighs about three and a half pounds. And this does come with a one year limited warranty from Race Ramps, and this product is made in the USA. Would recommend,makes working under the car safer,easy storage too.
Another "I should have bought these things a long long time ago" item. YES they are quite expensive if you go the modular route. However talk about easy to use. No longer will I have to jockey for frame space when I need to jack as well as put a jack stand in the same area. Will definitely make all my under carriage maintenance a breeze now. Harbor Freight's 2-ton long-reach low-profile jack had enough lift for my application without having to resort to wood blocks.
Race Ramps makes fantastic products; and these wheel cribs are no exception.

Very pleased with the product, they're light and serve their purpose. The price was also the cheapest I found, cheaper than [on-line retailer] or any other major retailers. Most importantly though,I'm pleased with the customer service I received from etrailer.com. I ordered 2 sets of wheel cribs, 4 in total. When I received my order I was in a hurry and on my way out of town so I set the box in the garage and didn't open it for nearly a month. Upon opening it I discovered I had only been sent one set. I was worried since it had been so long since I had placed my order that I wouldn't be able to get them to correct it.
