Race Ramps FlatStoppers protect your investment by keeping your tires off the ground and safely supported. Simply park your vehicle or trailer on the tire stands whenever you put it in storage. These ultra-strong supports will prevent your tires from developing flat spots, giving you peace of mind the next time you get back out on the road.
A flat spot is a section of the tire in which the rubber has become softer or stiffer than the rest of the tire. Flat spots are caused by compression of the tire against a hard surface for an extended period of time - typically 30 days or more. Vehicles that are put in storage or not driven on a regular basis, such as supercars, collectible cars, show cars, seasonal vehicles, and trailers, are at risk for developing flat spots.

When it comes to fighting flat spots, prevention is key, and that is exactly what FlatStoppers' curved surfaces are designed to do. The curved surfaces cradle your tires, allowing more of the bottom surface area of the tires to be supported than if they were parked on the flat ground. Since the tires are better supported by the cradles, weight is more evenly distributed throughout the tires, preventing the compression that causes flat spotting. The cradles on these extra-wide supports are especially helpful in preventing flat spots on high-performance tires that are rated H or higher. These types of tires have a low profile with short side walls and a wide footprint that makes them susceptible to flat spots.
FlatStoppers are also insulated to protect your tires against ground temperature fluctuations that can contribute to flat spots. This means they will not conduct heat or cold into your tires while in storage.
FlatStoppers are made of ultra-strong, solid core, high-density EPS foam that won't crack or bounce. Each FlatStopper supports 1,500 lbs - giving you a total weight capacity of 6,000 lbs for your vehicle. The tire supports are lightweight, weighing no more than 3.5 pounds each, so you can transport and store them with ease.
FlatStoppers are covered with a textured coating and are flat on one side. This keeps them from skidding when you drive up on them. The coating is a hybrid polyurea compound that is resistant to water and other automotive chemicals commonly found around the garage. And although this coating is durable, it will not scratch, mark, or scrape your garage floor or the ground.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Race Ramps FlatStoppers. They're available to fit tires up to 12 inches wide, part number RR-FS, and tires up to 8 inches wide, part number RR-FS-10. FlatStoppers are designed to provide a parking platform for your car or your trailer when storing them for long periods of time. This product prevents your tires from getting flat spots during a longer period of storage, generally a month or more. FlatStoppers are particularly handy for automobile collectors. Whether you have to have the latest model or a classic cruiser, you can protect your tires from getting flat spots. The wider stoppers are ideal for high-performance, high-speed tires with a wide footprint.
These tire supports are also great for classic cars with bias ply tires. The curved surface cradles the tire, supporting the entire bottom of the tire. Heat and cold temperatures cannot be transferred through the FlatStoppers to your tires. They're made out of an ultra-strong, high-density EPS foam, yet they're incredibly lightweight, easy to transport, and store.
They have a weather-proof, anti-skid coating that guards against automotive fluids and water. The textured coating prevents sliding and slipping. It won't scratch, mark, or damage your floor. Together, the four ramps have 6,000 lbs weight capacity. Now that we gone and looked at all the features, I'll go ahead and show you how to use them. You need to make sure that you're working on a flat, even, level surface.
You also want to make sure there's no dirt, debris, or any rocks, anything that might puncture the ramps. When working with a tandem axle, you need to make sure you have enough room between the tires where your ramp can fit in between. What we can do is just take them and scoot them in place and then we'll set the other one in front. We can repeat the same process for the other side. Now we're ready to pull on.
Remember, we're only driving a few inches, so you want to do it nice and slow. It works just as easy when setting it up for your vehicle. Just put one FlatStoppers in front of each tire. Perfect. That's going to complete our look at the Race Ramps FlatStoppers.

I love Flatstoppers! My car looks beautiful sitting on them while they’re protecting my tires.
I will write a more comprehensive product review later, but will currently comment on the vendor. A+ in my book. Great email updates, shipping info, product info, etc. I have examined the mats and they look exactly as depicted (haven’t put my car on them so therefore withholding extensive review of product). I wish every online vendor was this good.
Received my product in the exact time specified when ordering and was very satisfied with the quality and workmanship of these Flat Stoppers. Had no problem driving my Corvette up on the ramps on an epoxy coated garage floor. I look forward to evaluating how well they hold up in the spring after sitting all winter.
These things fit perfect under my Viper and Demon. Will be ordering more for my other cars that do not get driven everyday. This is cheap insurance against hurting expensive soft compound tires.

Reasonably good product
To difficult to place and park on, doesn’t prevent flat spots enough.

Pleasantly surprised that these are extremely lightweight yet also very sturdy.
Bought these ramps to prevent flat spots. The car was stored about 80 miles from my primary residence and sitting for 4 months on them. When driving home from the storage there was no indication of flatspotting, no vibration at all. These ramps worked as advertised and well worth the money.
As the reviews stated, the ramps don't slip when you drive up on them. Quality product.
Have two complete sets of these ramps under two 1st Gen Camaros on concrete garage floor. They are easy to drive on and off and have eliminated “flat spots” on my period correct F70-14 bias ply tires. They can slip a bit on smooth garage floor if you aren’t gentle when going up but really is a very minor issue.
Overall very happy and recommend them for those who have bias ply tires or have “trailer queens” like me.
I leave a car parked in an Arizona garage for 6 of the hottest months of the year. Flat spotting has always been a problem. These ramps have totally prevented this issue.
I purchased these Race Ramps for my 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab with a 5'7" bed. Truck is stored all winter and every year there were flat spots on the tires and cause vehicle vibration. This truck has 20" tires so I was skeptical that it would work. First ride in in 2017 absolutely no road vibration. I was very please. Nothing worse than waiting all winter to get a lousy ride. The truck is back in storage again on the Race Ramps and I must say that I highly recommend these. My truck has All season radials. I would not expect these to perform the same if you park mudders or anything larger than a 22" tire. 22" is pushing it.
I put them under our '54 Chevy and they work great! It was easy to set them up and to drive onto them. A excellent product that's made in the good old U.S.A.
I’ve had Race Ramps before so I knew the quality and customer service are excellent.
I just received the ramps yesterday. They are as advertised, they are lightweight and easy to drive the car onto. I will have to wait a few months to see if they really guard against flat spotting but so far I am very satisfied with them.
The race ramps are expanded plastic. They slid on the epoxy floor of my garage and I had to use a floor jack to correctly position them. Putting a rubber insert in the bottom like ramps I have would solve that.
I used my new flatStopper car ramps over the 2018/19 winter for the first time.
In the spring, my old Jag 140 went out the driveway as smooth as could be.

Bought the FlatStoppers to protect the tires from getting flat spots during storage. The amount of tire area cradled by FlatStoppers compared to sitting on floor is impressive. Lightweight just put under tires and drive on, much safer than jackstands.
They look OK. Seem pricy for what you get. The 1st ones I used on one of my cars, the tire developed a flat tire. The rim put a groove in the product. They are just not like a solid piece of plastic or metal that might stand up to a flat tire. They look like compressed foam?
Very light to handle which is great for moving them.
I have ordered some of another brand that looks like plastic for considerably less money
The concept is great, but the execution leaves me flat (ha!)
The rigid foam material needs to be stiffer...my trailer weighs about 5,000 lbs and the foam is compressing more than I would like after using them for the extended storage ( 9 mos) during Covid.
I think the ramps worked just as described and got all my tires off the cement as promised and could not ask for more and would suggest that anyone needed to get your RV tires off the ground take a look at these and they worked great for us....
