Parts Needed to Wire Lippert Electric Jack to Trailer Battery
Question:
The lippert comes with no connection part and no instructions except to connect it to a 12v power source. How? I assume the positive battery terminal but do I go to the store and find a part to do this with? Thanks

You are correct, the red power wire coming out of the Lippert jack # LC285318 will need to be connected to the positive terminal on your trailer battery to provide a 12V power source. The jack is grounded through its mounting hardware.
All you need is a ring terminal, like # 44-5356A, which accepts 12-10 gauge wire, and has a 5/16" diameter Ring ID to connect to your battery post. Once the red wire is inserted, use a wire crimper to affix the connector to the end of the wire.
I've attached an installation video for a similar power jack that you can use as reference. The only difference is that your Lippert jack comes with an in line fuse which will need to be removed and re-installed once the power wire is connected to the battery.
