Most electric tongue jacks, like the Lippert Electric Trailer Jack with Footplate # LC285318 you were looking at, have a manual override in the top of the head. Simply remove the rubber gasket and use a crank like # LC285324 to manually operate your jack.

If you have a fifth wheel landing gear you're trying to raise or lower then you would need to use a landing gear crank like # RVLG-HDL or # LC119226 and can find the manual override on the driver's side where the motor is located.
