Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Bulldog Round Sidewind Tubular Mount Swivel Jack, has a 10 inch lift and a 2,000 pound lift capacity. Now, this is a nice dependable jack, it's an industry standard used for agricultural and commercial applications, this one is ASABE compliant. Does come with the weld-on tubular mounting bracket, comes all assembled you can see. Basically, it uses this convenient spring loaded plunger pin swivel feature, and just to show you what we're talking about, I take out the plunger pin, you can see it's tethered, so you don't lose it, and it is a 1/2 inch diameter plunger pin. But basically, this mount here will be welded onto your trailer, and you can see your jack will go right in here and line up, there's four different holes.
So basically, if you're using the jack, if you're gonna raise the trailer up, you'll have it in this position, you'll just go ahead and take your pin, make sure it lines up with the hole, and then just push it all the way through, it has a little ball bearing end on it that helps holding into place, and now, it's in the down position. If you're ready to tow the trailer and you wanna travel, you just go ahead and pull that pin back out all the way. And then because this'll be welded onto your trailer, what you'll do is just rotate this jack like that into that position, line the holes up, put your pin back through, and then it'll hold it parallel to the trailer tongue out of the way for travel. And then when you go to use it again, just rotate it down, take your pin, line it back up. Make sure the holes are lined up, and push the pin all the way through, and it'll hold it into place.
They do use precision fitted parts on this, which provide exceptional stability and reliability. Also, if I spin this around right under the handle, you'll notice there's a grease zerk fitting that'll accept the grease gun. Attach your grease gun to that, pump your grease inside to lubricate the gears. As you can see, it is a sidewind handle, has a nice smooth ergonomic design for easy cranking. The outer tube on this jack is gray painted, the inner tube is zinc plated.
You can see the footplate is already installed, it's included. Now, I'll give you a few specs on this. The bracket height, this is your bracket right here, so in the fully retracted position like it is in right now, if we measure from the bottom of the foot plate to the center of the bracket, you can see it's gonna be right at 11 inches. If we crank this all the way out to where this inner leg will go all the way down, that gives you a 10 inch lift, so then if we measure the bracket height when it's fully extended, it's gonna be 21 inches. Inner tube diameters is two inches, outer tube is 2 1/4 inches.
The handle radius, if we measure from here to here, you can see is gonna be right about 6 5/8 inches. And again, the lift capacity on this jack is 2,000 pounds. But again, just to go cranking, you can see just like that, that's all the way down or cranking the leg all the way in, this way it's extending it just like that. But that should do it for the review on this Bulldog Round Sidewind Tubular Mount Swivel Jack with the 10 inch lift and a 2,000 pound lift capacity.
