Today we're going to be taking a look at part #FCR8012. This is the Fulton Marine Grade black carpeting. It's going to measure 12 inches wide by 12 feet long. This is designed to go over the bunk board on your boat trailer, and it's going to protect your boat from scratches and abrasions during launching and loading. It's going to replace your old, worn carpeting. It's a durable, marine grade carpeting, so it's going to be weather resistant, very easy to clean and it's going to dry quickly as well. It's weather resistant, so it's going to resist mold and mildew.
It is going to be made here in the USA. Again, you're going to get 12 inches in width with an overall length of 12 feet long, so this is going to work great for 2x4s and 2x6s. It's also really easy to get onto your bunk. I have a board here today. This is a 2x4 that's been wrapped in the carpeting. What you want to do is you want to wrap the board in the marine grade carpeting and then if you have enough carpeting to overlay it, that's great.
You can just use a staple gun to place the staples in along the seam. You want a nice clean seam and then if you can, fold over the ends, get that stapled shut as well, but a nice staple gun is going to have more than enough power. That's the most traditional way to attach the carpeting to the board. That's going to have more than enough power to go through the carpeting and grab into the board itself. The main thing though is the piece of board or the piece of the board that's going to making contact with the boat, you just want to make sure you get that nice and covered. That way it doesn't cause any damage or it doesn't scratch the surface on your boat.

Black color.I recently bought the pressure treated wood and wrapped them with your product. I have had the boat off and on the trailer twice now and have been very happy with the carpet. Of coarse the test is time so am confident a year or two from now the carpet will look and wear as well as it does now.
Works great for bunks on jet ski lift. Cheapest carpet and good quality. Will be carpeting bunks on my ski trailer as well.
Took less than 2 hrs to remove old carpet and replace with new. It looks awesome. also replaced both wheel and tires with new but they are hard to see.

Used this for recovering the bunks of our Ski Nautique trailer which were 2 x 6 treated boards. This material trims easily with a sharp knife and staples to place with a hand staple gun. It looks great too.

Product was exactly as presented on web page. It came packaged with a jack that I had also purchased and it was packed so the heavy item would not damage the material. I plan on using this item to cover the new bunks for my boat trailer. It looks like this material will outlast the bunks!
Performs well so far. I have launched three times and the fabric is holding up well. Just wish the fabric length was a little longer. I bought the 12 foot piece as I have two six foot forward bunks. It would have been better if I could have covered the ends of the bunks as well
So far so good. Installation was as easy as scissors and a staple gun. About a year in and no tears or strands that I see.
Good product. I have used this before. Had a little accident while loading so need to replace a small piece, but decided to do the thing.

Carpet looks nice and works great. But try to avoid installing around sharp corners like on a 2x4 cause my jet ski wore through the edges after one season. I should have sanded them to a larger radius on the corners that come in contact with the jet ski.
Bunk carpet is holding up well after one year of exposure
