Recommended Carpeted Bunk Boards For 13' Boston Whaler

Question:

I have a 13ft Boston Whaler and the boat trailer bunk broke so I need to replace. Current ones are 9ft but I cant find 9ft anywhere. Would another length work for the 13ft Whaler that you offer? Could I get away with a shorter length?

As a general rule of thumb you want your bunk boards to be at least half the length of your boat to ensure proper support.

Since you have a 13' Boston Whaler you would be able to use the 7' CE Smith Carpeted Bunk Boards for Boat Trailers # CE27845.

The reason we do not currently offer 9' bunk boards is due to shipping and cost, but you could also go to your local hardware store and have them cut boards to 9', then install the Fulton Marine Grade Carpeting # FCR8012 to protect your boat from scratches.

I included a video for both of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
