Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a brief look at the CE Smith side guide roller for boat trailers. This 2 1/2 inch in diameter roller is going to replace one of your boat trailer side guide rollers. It eases loading and unloading of your boat by helping to guide the boat into place. So this is going to mount along the side of your trailer. This is made in the USA of durable, heavy duty rubber and this is going to fit bracket with a half-inch shaft. And while we're talking about dimensions, let me pull out my ruler here.
The overall length is gonna be sitting right at, let me line that up a little bit better for you, gonna be sitting right at about 12 inches long. Roller arrived within 6 days of order and that was over the 4th of July... Arrived by UPS... I tracked it all the way on the page provided by the company...Very easy to do... Price was right and it was exactly what I ordered. Would certainly do business with them again! Couldn't find a 12 inch roller with a half-inch shaft in any of the local marine outlets...all 5/8 inch shaft...Glad I found it with etrailer!! 5 Stars!!

- What Is the Shaft Tube Inside CE Smith Boat Trailer Roller CE29560 Made OfThe inner piece of CE Smith roller # CE29560 is nylon. These pieces are usually just in a few inches at the ends of rollers for extra support and don't go through the hole length of the roller. For a shaft for this roller you can use # CE10705A which is zinc-plated steel.
view full answer... - Could Keel Rollers Be Used at the Bottom of Trailer to Roll Boat OnKeel rollers like the part # CE29560 do not have the capacity for the full weight of a boat. They typically have a capacity of around 400 lbs. You would be better served with a set of roller bunks like the part # DL21741 instead. These have a capacity of 3,000 lbs. I attached a picture that shows how they look when installed. For a set of brackets to use to install the roller bunks you would want the part # CE10000G-4.
