Jeff Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Dutton-Lainson two inch rubber end cap for half inch shaft. Now, this Dutton-Lainson rubber end cap is for half inch shafts. It's ideal for your boat trailer. Now, these end caps will easily install on the same brackets that your side guide rollers are mounted to.
You just attach each end cap to the shaft on the outside of the roller bracket and then secure the end cap in place with a cap nut or a pal nut. Now, not only do these end caps provide more surface area for better boat to trailer contact, they'll also help keep your boat from being scratched by sharp bracket edges. Few dimensions on this, give you the diameter. Diameter of it's gonna be right at two inches. The height of it is also gonna be right at two inches tall.
And this end cap is made from a solid, high-grade rubber material. And as we mentioned, it is designed to fit half inch diameter shaft. But that should do for the review on the Dutton-Lainson two inch rubber end cap for a half inch shaft..
