Hi everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today, we're taking a look at the Water Dragon underwater green LED light. Now, whether you're looking to replace underwater lights on your boat, or you're looking to add some to your boat, this might be a really good option for you to consider. Let's take a closer look at this light. Now, this LED underwater light, as you can see, is going to have six diodes, and those diodes are gonna provide a bright green light for your boat.

Let me give you a demonstration of just how bright this is, and the nice green light that it gives off here. So, this is what my studio lights on, and as you can see, it's very bright. And let me go ahead and turn my lights off. And again, just gives off a very nice, a very bright green light. And then I'm gonna zoom out while I got my lights off here.

And again, just bouncing off of my a table here, you can almost completely see me with this light. And I'm just gonna shine it around my studio walls here, giving you an idea here of just how bright this is. Really nice green glow. Those six diodes do a great job. And while we're here, I'm gonna turn my overhead lights back on.

And again, you see just how bright this light is. Now these diodes are going to be energy efficient, more so than what you would have with incandescent bulbs. And not only that, they are going to be vibration resistant and very long-lasting. The light output on this light is gonna be 2,700 lumens, and the green LEDs are sealed in a waterproof housing. And then those diodes are gonna be sealed in this impact-resistant lens unit.

And the circuit board inside is of a military construction. So, this light is going to be able to take quite a bit of punishment. It's gonna be durable and it's gonna last you a good long time. Another nice feature of this light is the urethane potting. That offers a better protection than the common epoxy potting in controlling the heat transfer inside the light. And speaking of heat, this does, this light does have thermal protection safeguards against overheating. So, you won't have to worry about this light overheating. Now, this durable die-cast aluminum housing is going to be covered here with this stainless steel cover, and this stainless steel is a 316 stainless steel. What that means for you is that this stainless steel is gonna be more resistant to pitting and corrosion. So, that's nice, especially since this is going to be exposed to water. It is compatible with 12 volt and 24 volt DC systems. And this is a surface mount light. It does not come with installation hardware, so you would have to provide that locally. And obviously, this does hardwire to your in, to your installation. The green wire will be for power and the black wire will be for ground. So, let me go ahead and give you some measurements here. The overall length of this light is gonna be sitting right at, move my finger there so you can see, let me see, right at about 4 3/4 inches long. And then the overall width of this light. Again, it does flare out ever so slightly. The housing that is. We're gonna be sitting right at about an inch and 3/4 overall width. And then the thickness, we're gonna be sitting right at about 5/8 of an inch. And then another important measurement that I would like to provide for you is the measurement of the mounting holes. So, we're gonna be sitting right at about, on those mounting holes, about 3 3/4 inches, that distance between the mounting holes. Again, the light output on this is gonna be 2,700 lumens. The input, the input voltage is gonna be nine volts to 30 volts. And the power draw is gonna be 1.13 to 1.38 amps. As you can see, it does come with a provider wire that's gonna be 36 inches long. I have that bundled up here. And this light does have a limited lifetime warranty. So again, this is a green LED underwater light.
