Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this TecNiq waterproof white LED boat accent light. Just want to zoom in. This is a small rectangular LED light that'll omit a bright white light for improved visibility and accent lighting aboard your boat. This'll light up your cabinets, steps, walkways, and other areas of your boat's interior.

It is a sealed waterproof unit. Includes a durable polycarbonate housing and a UV resistant lens. Does use military grade construction of the circuit board, and on the very back here, it does use urethane potting, which gives you better protection than the common epoxy potting. This does have an IP68 rating. Now, the LEDs on this light are premium LEDs that are energy efficient, long-lasting, and vibration resistant.

They are rated up to 50,000 hours of operation. Now, I do have this hooked up to some 12-volt power and I am gonna turn it on to show you how bright the light is and the color of it. So what we're gonna do is go ahead and first turn on our power. You can see the four white LEDs come on. Turn off our overhead lights, and you can see how bright it is.

Very bright light. It is a clear lens over four white LEDs. It is compatible with 12-volt DC systems. Go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights, turn off our power. Now, this light is a surface mount installation.

Basically it installs by mounting in a protective horizontal or vertical mounting cover, which we do sell separate on our website. They're usually listed on the product page as a related product. But basically, if you mount this in the horizontal cover going this way, it'll give you a 60-degree beam. If you mount it in a vertical cover, meaning it's gonna go this way, it gives you a 40-degree beam. Now, the hardware to install this is not included. It does require two screws to mount the cover with the light in it. This does hardwire to your application. You can see there's two wires of power in the ground and the wire length is about 8 1/2 inches. Few specs on this. The dimension lengthwise, it's gonna be right at 1 1/8 inches for the length, the height right at 3/8 of an inch tall, and the depth on it is right at a half an inch deep. Light output on this is 32 lumens, input voltage, nine volts to 14 volts, and the power draw is 0.08 to 0.12 amps.
