After a long drive to the campground, the last thing you feel like doing is maneuvering your RV into a tight campsite space - especially in the dark! This wired, bumper-mounted backup camera system gives you peace of mind that you'll be able to back up more safely, even at nighttime or in other low-light conditions.
Tired of yelling back and forth to your partner out the window as you're struggling to back in at a good angle? The built-in microphone on the camera and integrated speakers on the monitor allow a spotter to relay information or instructions to you from outside your vehicle. This makes it much easier and safer for you to back up in a crowded campground.
No more wondering if you're getting too close to another vehicle, tree, curb, or your kid's bike while backing up. The rear assist marker lines take out the guesswork to avoid collisions and safely maneuver your RV. The lines are displayed in 3 different colors (green, yellow, and red) to help gauge the proximity of objects within your view.
And because this camera has 8 infrared LEDs, you'll have a clear picture even in low-light conditions at dusk or in complete darkness at night. These LEDs provide ample illumination up to 45' should you arrive at the campsite after dark and need to back up into your parking spot.
If there's a torrential downpour, the waterproof, IP68-rated camera will be protected against water submersion for up to 30 minutes, and the sealed thread-and-collar, 4-pin connector ensures that moisture won't seep in. If you're driving through rough country roads, the camera will resist excess dust and dirt. And if it freezes over while you're camping up north, the heated lens prevents ice from building up on the camera, which means you won't need to defrost it by hand.
This camera system includes 3 different mounting options for the monitor, depending on how you want to display it on your RV's dashboard. If you want a permanent mounting solution, drill the pedestal mount or the U-bracket into the dashboard. Or, if you want to be able to re-position the monitor later on, you could stick the pedestal mount onto the dashboard with the included adhesive backing. And if you want the monitor to have a custom, factory look, recess the third mount into your dashboard. To power the monitor, simply plug it into a 12-volt light or cigarette lighter outlet.
The bullet-style camera recesses directly into your RV's bumper for a flush, clean look. Using the included hole saw and mounting hardware (not included), install the camera - drilling is required. Then once the connections to power, ground, and the monitor have been made, wire the camera to the reverse lights if you solely want it to back up out of tight spaces. Or wire it to ignition power if you want to keep an eye on your rig while you're driving down the highway.

Now this rear observation system with night vision is designed to improve rear view visibility, and obstacle detection. So it's designed to increase overall safety, and awareness, and prevent accidents from happening. When you shift into reverse, the camera feed is sent directly to the monitor for easy and quick viewing. The camera is this small component right here.It's a recessed mount installation. So it has the threaded collar on the back side, so you drill a hole for the camera.
Comes with the appropriate size hole saw right here. And you place the camera in, thread in the collar on the back side until it's nice and snug. And really that's all there is to it. It's a recessed mount installation. It can be mounted directly into the bumper for a clean, out-of-the-way look.The camera connects to the monitor with the included 65 foot camera cable.
Plenty of length there for most applications. So this is not wireless. This is a wired rear view observation system. Features a full color monitor that makes it easy to see the camera feed. Now this monitor supports up to three camera feeds, with the included harness right here.
Additional cameras are sold separately. So this is great for if you want to add in another observation camera, or a side view camera, whatever your needs are.You have the push button design down there, those are backlight, so they're easy to see in a low light setting. And as you can see, we have the grid lines on there. But you have channel one, channel two, channel three. You have your on and off button.
You can increase your brightness. You also have menu, so you can control your contrast, color, volume, zoom, which is just your aspect ratio, parking assist, or park set on or off. You can change the language. You can do a master reset.But the menu button allows you to navigate through all that, that way you can kind of customize your set up for your particular needs. But again, this supports up to three camera feeds. Additional cameras are sold separately. Also, you have different mounting options with this kit. You can mount with the included U-bracket which I already have on there. You can do it with the adjustable ball and socket mount, comes with an adhesive backing right there. That'd be like a dash style mount. Fully adjustable, so you can get the angle you need.Then you also have this mount right here. This is a flush mount bracket. On the back side, we have two speakers. So we have the built in speakers that would send through audio signals from compatible sources. It also comes with a removable sun shade. This can be put on there to reduce glare from the sun. Also, it comes with a wireless remote for easy operation in or out of your vehicle. The camera is IP68 rated. So it's protected from dirt, dust, and moisture.Again, it is night vision. The infrared distance is up to 45 feet. So you can there, when I turn the lights off, we still have really easy visibility at night, or in low light conditions. Now when it comes to the specifications of the monitor, the screen size, that's corner to corner is seven inches. Screen resolution 800x480. Power consumption is five watts, and impact rating is five Gs.When it comes to the specs of the camera, the viewing angle is 120 degrees. Infrared distance, 45 feet. Impact rating vibration is 20 G, shock is 10 G. And this system is designed for 12 volt to 24 volt DC systems. But again, you get your wiring harness, it is fuse protected. So you need to run power to it, and you need to get it grounded. And then also you have the threaded connections points for each camera feed. So again, it supports up to three camera feeds.The threaded design ensures that these will not become disconnected. And then you have the wiring that runs to the monitor right there. So that's how the camera feed is sent to the monitor. That's also how it gets its power, and everything. So there's not a separate power harness for this. It's all tied into the actual wiring harness, the main harness on the system.So you get the camera, the wires, the monitor. You get three different brackets for the monitor. You get your camera cable, remote, hole saw, for mounting the camera. Your tool to make any adjustments here with the screws on the monitor, sun shade.
