Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Replacement Outer Plow Shoe Assembly for the Boss snow plow, it's for a quantity of one. Now, this part will replace one shoe assembly for the outer shoes on your Boss snow plow. This part is comparable to the Boss part number MSC01501. This is designed to mount to the bottom of the blade, so the cutting edge can safely travel over uneven surfaces. This will help reduce wear and tear on the cutting edge to extend its life.
If you noticed, it does include multiple washers, so that you're can adjust the height of the shoe, and this is constructed of a heavy-duty steel for durability. Has a very extra thick base, which offers long lasting performance, and it will resist corrosion, has a nice black powder coat finish to it. It does easily install and remove with this included keeper pin right up here at the top. Part is made in the USA, and again, you can see it has a large spacer at the bottom, and then roughly about 30 washers that you can adjust it to the height that you need. Few specs on this, overall dimension, the height from the bottom to the very top is gonna be right at 8 5/16 of an inch tall, the diameter on this shoe portion is about 6 1/4 inches, now the shaft itself that the spacer and the rings are on, goes from here to here, height from that is gonna be right at about 7 1/4 inches tall, and the diameter on the shaft is one inch.
