Hi there I'm Michael with etrailer.com, today we're going to take a quick look at this tailor-made, heavy duty vinyl dock edging. This is a 10 foot long piece of three and three quarter inch tall by two inch thick dock edging that is going to permanently installed onto the side of your dock to help prevent damage to visiting boats. This white vinyl outer layer is going to prevent transfer of color from the dock to your boat's hull. This is a nice heavy duty double bolded construction. It's gonna be great for busy marinas and other frequently used docks. It's gonna be very simple to get installed.
You just cut to the length that you need, then use nails or screws to screw or nail the flangers onto the top and the side of your dock. You want to make sure that those nails and screws are spaced no more than six inches apart as you go along, the mounting hardware is not included with this, but they do recommend using galvanized deck screws or aluminum nails to prevent corrosion. This is a nice eco-friendly core that's made of 85% recycled materials. So it is going to be good for the environment and it is made here in the USA, so you can trust it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US, so this is gonna be a really nice option for you if you are looking for a way to kind of help create a buffer between your dock and your boats or any visiting boats, so that you're not gonna have to worry about bumping up and causing damage.
