Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this Taylor made 10 foot long, heavy duty P-shape vinyl dock edging. Now this dock edging will permanently install onto the side of your dock, helps prevent damage to any visiting boats. I want to zoom in here and show you it's a heavy duty, double molded construction. It's great for busy marinas and other frequently used docks.
You can see this as a P-shape design which is great for protecting boats in regions that have uneven tides. It is a white vinyl outer layer on it that won't transfer color to the boat's hull. It does have eco-friendly core which is made of 85% recycled materials. It is a very simple installation. You just cut it to the length you need and you'll nail or screw the flanges onto the top and the side of your dock spaced about every six inches.Now the mounting hardware is not included.
They do recommend to use corrosion resistant fasteners like galvanized deck screws or aluminum nails. Dimensions on this again is 10 foot long. Here's a section of a two-by-four which let's say would be your dock. When you go to install this, you can see you have your top flange right up there that'll install on the top and then this goes up to the side. You just put your screws or nails right on here and then right down here, and then it'll go along the whole length of your dock, just like that. But that should do it for the review on the Taylor made 10 foot long, heavy duty P-shape vinyl dock edging.
