I have used B&W hitches for many years and I've been very happy with the quality of their products. etrailer makes it easy to shop for these hitches since the B&W site is terrible. I was able to find the correct size and all dimensions were listed clearly. Thanks again!

by:

heavy solid fits thanks

by:

It is refreshing to still see American companies selling “Made in USA” quality these days.

by:

Really heavy duty solid steel 2 inch square, really thick steel tongue and and tight fitting hole for the ball bolt so little chance of ball rattle or slipping. Nice smooth welding and finish.

by:

Ball mount is awesome and super high quality and heavy duty over and above what I will need to tow my 7000 pound car trailer but I like it that way! Great job to everyone involved. My hat is off to the fabricators, made in USA Mount arrived without a nick, perfect weld marks and flawless show quality paint job. I may not even use it, it is that nice. Maybe put it in a display case and start a collection. Fast shipping, 2 days

by:

Great product would purchase again.

by:

Product is extremely heavy duty. much more than I will need, but I appreciate quality made is USA products. Etrailer packaging not so great. Box was torn by weight of this item, which caused a chip in the finish of the item.

by:

Solid shaft, weighty, but expecting a long life from it. I'll have to hunt around for someone who has the right tool for getting [torque specs] on the ball, but shouldn't be a big problem. Package tracking was excellent and on time.

by:

Made from solid bar stock. B&W Made in the USA can not go wrong. Thank you Stacy for helping me order this product.

  • Thickness of Hitch Ball Platform of B&W Heavy-Duty Ball Mount
The thickness of the platform the hitch ball sits on is 1 inch for the B&W Heavy-Duty Ball Mount # BWBMHD30011. This ball mount has a 16,000 lb capacity and 1,600 lb tongue weight capacity while giving you either a 1 inch rise or 2 inch drop. To secure it to your hitch you'll need Pin & Clip # PC3. For a hitch ball, depending on the size you need, I recommend either 2" Hitch Ball # C69FR or 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # C40008. I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well...

I contacted our representative at Draw-Tite about the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 41906, he informed me that part # 41906 will fit your 2007 Ford Econoline E-350 XLT that has the factory spare tire. You will be able to access your factory spare tire while the Draw-Tite Hitch # 41906 is mounted to your vehicle. • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For 1997 Ford F-250 With Deep Drop Bumper
Thanks for the pictures! The trailer hitch receiver I recommend for your 1997 Ford F-250 HD Is the B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2" # BWHDRH25198 which has a 7-3/8" drop which is measured from the bottom of the frame to the top of the receiver tube. Since in the picture you provided you measured about 5" from the bottom of the frame to the bottom of the bumper you will have plenty of clearance. The # BWHDRH25198 has a 1600lb tongue weight rating and a...

  • Recommended Receiver Hitch and Trailer Wiring Harness for 2007 Ford E350 Van
The highest rated hitch available for your 2007 E350 would have a 10000 lb towing capacity. With the use of a weight distribution system, the capacity can be increased to 12000 lbs. I would recommend the Curt Class IV Receiver, part # 14055, which will use existing holes in the van frame. We offer the wiring harness with trailer connector, draw bar and trailer balls to complete your towing system, but they are not sold as part of a package. The hollow shank ball mounts typically carry a lower weight rating than what you are looking for. You do not mention what kind of rise/drop you are needing, but for a 12,000 pound rating I would recommend a forged ball mount. Part # BWBMHD30010 offers a 1 inch rise or 2 inch drop, part # 40331 has a 3 inch rise or 4 inch drop, and part # 40332 features a 5 inch rise or a 6 inch drop. The hitch you have referenced, Curt Class V Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # C15409, is a 2 inch receiver, and can be installed along with an OEM receiver, on your Dodge Ram 3500. The towing capacity for this hitch is 17000 lbs, and it also has a tongue weight capacity of 2550 lbs. No ball mount, clip or pin is included, so I would recommend B&W Ball Mount, part # BWBMHD30010. • Are There Any Made in the U.S.A. Heavy Duty Ball Mounts for 2" Receivers Available?
No. While Curt is an American company and manufactures a great deal of their products in the U.S.A., the Heavy Duty Forged Ball Mounts like the # C45340 is not one of those products. If you're looking for a ball mount that is made in the U.S.A., the B&W Heavy-Duty Ball Mount # BWBMHD30010 has a 16,000-lbs capacity and the same 1" rise/2" drop as the Curt model you were looking at.

The Curt Class III Ball Mount with 2-5/16" Ball part # C45041 is not made in the USA but we do have options that are like the B&W Heavy-Duty Ball Mount part # BWBMHD30010.
