Trailer Hitch for 2009 Ford E-150 Van
Question:
Wii the spare tire on my 2009 Ford Econoline club wagon 8 passenger E150 still fit after installation?

Expert Reply:
When Draw-Tite hitch # 75703 is installed on your 2009 Ford E-150 van you WILL be able to re-install your spare tire. Removing the spare for hitch installation simply makes it easier to get to the attachment points on the vehicle frame. When you re-install the spare you might only need to shift it's position slightly but it will go back on just fine.
I have linked the written instructions, an install video and a helpful article to assist you with your install. The only special tool needed for hitch installation is a torque wrench like # ALL944001 which is required to ensure you tighten the included fasteners to the correct values.
If you need a wiring harness, you can use part # 118551. For a ball mount use # BWBMHD30010 and for a hitch ball use either 2-inch ball # A-90 or 2-5/16-inch # 19286.
