B&W Trailer Hitch and a Wiring Harness for a 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with 6-1/2 Foot Bed
Question:
Does this b w hitch fit the 6 and half ft bed on 01 silverado

Expert Reply:
Yes, B&W trailer hitch # BWHDRH25182 will fit your 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with 6-1/2 foot bed. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you and a video showing an example installation on a similar truck.
The recommended ball mount is # BWBMHD30010 which has a 1 inch rise or 2 inch drop. If you need a pin and clip use # PC3. For a 2-5/16 inch ball use # 19286. For a 2 inch ball, # A-90 will fit.
And if your truck does not have a trailer connector already I recommend # C59496 to add a 4-Way flat to the rear of the truck.
