Replaces the 5 mm hex wrench needed to install your Yakima RailGrab roof rack on your vehicle.Ordered some replacement parts for some older Yakima rail grab towers . Had everthing I needed . Easy peasy. And arrived right on time. Thx so much.
My daughter purchased a 2018 NuCamp teardrop trailer used in April 2020, which was factory equipped with a Yakima roof rack. Since no tools for the rack were left in the trailer by the original owner, I bought this so that she could adjust the rack as needed.
Tool works as intended and is of high quality and strength. I had to order this as the tool I had before this was quite cheap and broke while using. This one is much stronger and I can not imagine it breaking like the one I had before. After ordering, shipment was incredibly long. I emailed to inquire and they immediately sent another one which arrived very quick this time. A couple weeks later the original item finally arrived and they told me to just keep it which is nice as I now have a spare tool. Thanks.
I never give feedback, but in this case they’ve earned it. Replaced lost custom allen wrench for an old Yakima roof rack. Part was inexpensive and delivered quickly, arrived early. Order 108334971.
Exactly what I needed! Much easier to use then the short standard Allen key I was using. The ball end allows for off angle tightening of your accessories or towers. Stores well in my Yakima rail grab tower.
I am so grateful that etrailer had this part AND were able to get it to me so quickly! The special tool does deter theft of my Thule, but I could not FIND it when I needed to remove it!
